when can i received my passport request :'( 14 month passed since i have send my application in nova scotia, medicals made august 2016.

Hello ES, did you deliver your CSQ to Nova Scotia, and they forward to Rome office? if yes, same happened to me, do you know why?

I want to know when is the landing fees to be paid, and should i receive a mail for paying it, or there is a link to pay it anytime?

i delivered my file 19/5/2016 and medical received in Feb 2017.

you could pay landing fees anytime using credit card "not debit card" . by this link :

you should sign up and create a payment account to enable you make the payment.


sometimes paying the fees will accelerate the processing time so I advise you to pay it as soon as possible.
they will send you an email asking you to pay the fees or a message on your gckey account.
you should send them back the paying receipt to inform them. but this is not the case if you pay upfront .

Roma is visa office responsible for my country Albania. in my CSQ is written VO Roma.
if you are resident in one of those country Albania, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malta, San Marino, Sudan, Vatican City your Visa office is Roma.

My application is received from Nova scotia on march 2016 and i have received e-mail from VO Roma on 27 july 2016 request for medicals and to pay the fee and some others additonal documents.

I know one applicant with the same timeline as you that has received his visa two weeks ago.

have you link your application on GCKey? what says your background check ? it is in progress/ in process/ not applicable

I have sent them mail on 20th April, and they sent autoreply as per below with informational links, but showed as if they sent me mail for requirement in point 6. Is this the GCKey points you mean below?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 19, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 22, 2016.
3. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 27, 2016.
4. We started processing your application on October 24, 2016.
5. Medical results have been received.
6. We sent you correspondence on April 20, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. When they will complete background check VO will made a decision and will send to us request for passports

but you haven't seen how was last month background check.
background check changed from in progress to in process -not applicable and again in process.
