Today i got my AOR file number after waiting approximately 95 days as my file was submitted on 27.oct.2016.

I am waiting the next step hope that it will be soon

So.....CIC does work on saturdays???

Based on what I read, they will validate all the PCC that you shared and they also run your name and details with international law enforcement agencies. Once a BC (Beckground Check) starts, it can take from 3 to 12 weeks. The time is based on my observation from different cases, so it is only an indication and not a reference.

Hi,
I hope all is well.

It seems weird my AOR since 29th November 2016, till today no medical request. My file received 4th Aug 2016. How long it takes to received medical request from AOR date?
I have a friend who send his medical April 2016 and paid the RPRF with application fees back in Sept 2015. Yet no answer for his COPR. Anyone similar to his case, please advise. BTW his outside applicant.

Medical request will be requested after 2 to 3 months from AOR. In December and January, so many holidays. You may receive at the end of feb or earlier march. If you are lucky u may receive earlier of this month.

Congrats A minor correction, its 70 working days and it is below the recent average of 90 working days.

I submitted my application on 27.oct.2016 and got my AOR on 4.feb.2017 so its approximately 95 days "not working days"

Dear all,
Hope each one receives what he wants and wishes please hope to answer me if someone in my situation
I am from Egypt , I sent my application for permanent residence on May
they sent my UCI number on July , i did my medical results have been received on September and waiting till date
my office is Ottawa , my sautes is in process
i would like to know why they took all this time , please answer me they took one year processing time starting from receiving my file or my medical results ??
is any one his condition as me ?

You will only start getting an application status after you receive your AOR.

Before receiving the AOR also we can check it and I have linked my file .
Before today, it was showing File is in "Open" Status and Process is "not started " but suddenly today it shows me unavailable error.
That's why I am wondering.

Yes you can link under GCKEY and from what I recall it would show not started. Post AOR, GCAS and GCKEY would show initiation of review.

There is no exact number from the reference you requested. The data that we have is from the date your application was delivered to CIC and it is up to 90 Canadian working days.
