Hi,

I have applied for PR of Canada under QSW. I am an inland applicant and have sent my application to Sydney NS in Feb 2016. I am expecting an answer between now and March 2017 according to the current processing time -- 13 months.

I have done my medical upfront in Feb 2016 - couple days before submitting my application. It shows 'passed' in the application, however I would like to know if there is a possibility that Visa Office would ask me to repeat it if they wont finalize my application before the expiry of my medical result -- each medical is valid for 12 months.

Thanks in advance.

Hi I've just submitted my federal application this month. I believe it takes 90 working days to get AOR. So nothing before end May for me. My visa office is London and I too have sent my file to Nova Scotia.

Hi can you please share your timeline?
Thanks in advance.

I just called
The lady was so robotic and told me that she has not information that the package has been received and suggested I called in 2 weeks. She irrelevantly suggested that 13 months have not been passed since I filed my application. And then she also casually said it would be Canada post who is responsible if my documents were lost.

I wonder if it is a good idea to contact Canada post and made them contact cic so that they will finally send someone to open that freaking PO Box - 9780

Strange, no one wants to take the responsibility.... Nor Canada Post neither CIC..... :-[

It happened to me the first time I called cic also. They said they could not help me.

The second time they told me wait for next week. Maybe it will not help either.

And it should be cic's responsibility also. They say they only using canada post.

If I were you, I would call canada post say they can not confirm with me, so you should confirm with me, and get the refund of xpresspost

Or go to CTV radio canada

Or just go to a lawyer to sue canada post and cic

Usually for inland applicants they don't ask for another medical even when it has expired.
Also could you please post your timeline. It would be great as we don't have many people from FEB 2016.
