Hey buddy this letter got me really concerned about my own application. I thought Federal part was just about verifying security and medical.
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering.

Were you at any point living in another province.
Did you send your application in french or English.
Are you currently employed in quebec.
Did you apply through peq and whether you went to an English or french university.

I am currently not employed but living in quebec. I don't know whether you need a job.

Is there anyone Else who recieved the same letter

Are you currently employed in quebec.Not for now but I am not the main applicant

Hey All

I recently sent my documents to the Federal for processing. What do I now have to expect? How long will the process take? Is there a website that shows how long it will take by country/region?

A couple of months ago, I received a request from Sydney office, NS to submit the PCCs, and I did. Today, I received an email from Ottawa requesting to submit the originals again!! Did this happen with any one? They didn't provide any mailing address and said to reply to "this" email. Why?

my timeline similar to yours, what is your expectation about passport request?
also do you have a plan about landing I mean you will travel outside canada or you will make it on flagpole?

I really dont know. But, heard from my friends, 4-6 weeks on an average after the RPRF payment.
Didnt decide about the landing, If no trip plan then flagpole.

-Copie de vos déclarations faites auprès des autorités suèdoises en vue de l’obtention du statut de réfugié. (I had this refugee claim back in 2003 in Sweden and I spent only 3 weeks and left. I have no official document on me, so I just wrote an explanation letter giving more details on that and also scanned my visa with entry/exit stamps. Hope this will be convincing for them.)

-Veuillez préciser vos activités de juillet 2002 à mars 2006 (I filled in 10 years back activities in the form IMM 5669, but here I suppose they want to know more about me starting from the date of my graduation from the University.)

I got my MER last week, and two days later, I received an e-mail asking me to provide some extra info. I replied by e-mail directly by enclosing the required Annexe A. Does someone know how long will it take for me to get my passport request ? I paid upfront.

From 1 to 6 months and it differs from case to case. If tney give you 1 month to provide extra info than I think you will get news not earlier than that.
