I always wonder the same thing... file was never transferred for us. We got AOR in march and as far as we know, Sydney is still our "visa office". I guess they process applications too!

This is one mystery I am not able to solve yet! Many members write Sydney as visa office in their profile. But in reality, the file has transferred to somewhere else during the processing.

Congratulation :) I just wonder did you get a visa to be able to go anywhere or even travel to your home country and come back for landing or you just for confirmation paper of permanent residence ?

I need to mail my passport to Ottawa first.
According to the email I received, they will send my passport back with a new issued visa and a confirmation letter.
After that I can go abroad and then come back for landing.

Yeah I still have no idea where ours is... Sydney still from the looks of it, at least we had no communication from Ottawa.

Got PL today, almost finish.
9 months.

I have just received a letter from CIC:

Cher (e) ........

Hey buddy this letter got me really concerned about my own application. I thought Federal part was just about verifying security and medical.
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering.

Were you at any point living in another province.
Did you send your application in french or English.
Are you currently employed in quebec.
Did you apply through peq and whether you went to an English or french university.

I am currently not employed but living in quebec. I don't know whether you need a job.

Is there anyone Else who recieved the same letter

Hi Guys,
As we don't have any topic specially for federal stage of quebec skilled worker program, I am starting this new one.
So as :'(k as many questions as you can and answer as many as you can, NO LIMITS ;D
Please share your timelines for federal stage and lets eliminate curiosity of others.

For me I've recently got CSQ and will apply for federal as soon as I have all the documents.
Ghggh

Yesterday (June 6th), my ECAS updated to "Decision Made".
This could be good or bad, but I am assuming good because I have received no email about missing information.
I will update if I receive anything in the mail (as I am from a Visa Exempt country, and will not receive a PPR).
