Hi,

I would like to see if anyone knows a rough estimate of how long it takes to get passport request, after the medical results have been received.

Med's Received: February 29, 2015 (shown as "Medical results have been received" in the online tool)
RPRF..............: Paid Upfront when App. Filed.
Passport Req..: TBD

It is really hard to find a clear pattern on how applications move ahead, there are too many factors to be taken under consideration. However from what I have observed, it looks like inland applications for some reasons are being processed slower from the rest.

Hi,

We are processing our Federal application after CSQ.

Question : How to count the number of years of formal education?

Primary school : 6 years
Secondary school : 7 years
University degree : it took me 6 years to complete a 4-years Bachelor in Engineering!

Should the count be 19 or 17 years?

Thanks

Some June applicants and July applicants like myself are still waiting for PPR so I guess we should be more patient and hope that sometime next month we'll hear some good news!

Hopefully I do see very few May applicants complaining a long wait. I take it a positive sign that they already received theirs. Therefore, ours, June and July, must be on the way. I am positive most of us hear good news by mid May.

Medical Request: March 22, 2016
Done: March 28, 2016

Until now, my ecas still doesn't reflect "Medical Results Received by CIC."

Is this normal? How long should I expect before my status changes?

Thank you!

Wow!

Since you all got your CSQs, I guess you all speak good french or fluent french.

Can anyone share their CSQ interview experience, I want to know, if someone of low level A2 in french can get CSQ or not?
I want to know, if you can speak to the interviewer in English and can get CSQ?

Please share your interview experience, if you want you can PM, I appreciate your help guys. Please.

Hi Goodie,

If you placed on your application that you know French, then they will speak to you in French at the interview.
If you already have enough points without French, and you are a low level at speaking, then it is always better to place ZERO French knowledge on the CSQ application.
I did this, and because I placed zero French, the lady who interviewed be took note of that and spoke in English the whole time.
