I don't think so, they mention the docs that need to be notarized copies specifically. We got our application back in November and sent it back since, our mistake was a missing hand signature, but her passport photocopy was fine without being notarized.kelly_mbarker said:We submitted a photocopy of our passport as part of the requirement for federal stage.. Does it have to be a notarized copy? Will they return our application because of our passport? Anyone with the same experience.

Yesterday I got my PPR! As happy as I was, I went and send my passport by the end of the day, but I forgot to send with it a prepaid envelope for them to send it back. So today, I went on and sent them an envelope, with the prepaid envelope in it, and a letter explaining, also with my details.
Do you guys think this would delay my passport return?
Thank you very much
MidoRafa said:Just follow the "Format" column of the checklist. If it says "Copy" then that's all you need, ie a photocopy - no need to make things more difficult or expensive than they need be. If the certificates are not in English or French then you will need to submit a "notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the original version".
Not required for federal part. The difficult part where you had to prove every word is over now that you have your CSQ in hand
Thanks so much!Vinc360 said:I don't think so, they mention the docs that need to be notarized copies specifically. We got our application back in November and sent it back since, our mistake was a missing hand signature, but her passport photocopy was fine without being notarized.
No, your application won't be rejected, we submitted copies not notarized and got approval for PR "decision made" ...kelly_mbarker said:We submitted a photocopy of our passport as part of the requirement for federal stage..
