Anyone going through the Quebec immigration process to sponsor their spouse?

How is this going for you and what are the timelines so far?

It says that the ministry will give a decision within 25 days of receiving the application. How does this coincide with CIC's decision and process?

I'm from the US. We just received our COPR today actually! Here is our timeline:

PR
Medical: March 07, 2016 (Upfront)
App. Delivered: March 16,2016
AOR: April 13, 2016
SA: April 19, 2016
"In-Process": April 20, 2016
AOR 2: April 22, 2016
CSQ Request: April 25, 2016
Sent CSQ (first time): May 27, 2016 (via e-mail)
Sent CSQ (second time): July 22, 2016 (via e-mail and case specific inquiry)
( long story short, they apparently didn't receive it the first time.)
Decision Made: August 12, 2016
COPR received: August 16, 2016
( but mailed to my husband in Quebec and not to me in the US, so he has to mail it to me)

CSQ
Mailed: April 22, 2016 (via CanadaPost Xpress Post)
Delivered: April 25, 2016
Credit Card Charged: April 29, 2016
Approved: May 20, 2016 (according the approval letter)
Received Approval: May 27, 2016 (via Canada Post- snail mail)

If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them for you! Good luck in your journey!

Hi bassix, my CSQ was received by MIDI on May 2nd and awarded on June 3rd. I didn't sent it by e-mail nor case specific enquiry as they wrote the federal authorities who will process the file have been informed of the selection certificate's issuance.

It took me a month to receive the CSQ

For us it took 6 week to get CSQ but have to consider that it was during christmas time!

I sent mine via email because the CIC email I received originally requesting the CSQ specifically stated for me to send them a copy by replying to their email. Even after I sent them a copy, they later requested it again stating that it had never been received. So don't always rely on MIDI to send it because 2 months after they approved me CIC had not received a copy from MIDI and I was at risk of having my application denied.

I should be fine since they didn't request a copy of the CSQ for now. I read that some other people have sent a copy of the CSQ and they weren't even asked for it but I'd rather just go with the tide and wait for CIC to request it if they didn't in fact receive it by MIDI.

If they requested it, like CIC did in your case, I would send it out in a heartbeat.

Hopefully next request is passport request ;)

Thanks everyone for sharing :)

Also took me a month to get mine :)

Still unable to get an answer, perhaps one of you can help.
Applying as an outland sponsor, when asked in the CSQ application for proof of address in Quebec, I've been away for so long, living abroad and elsewhere in Canada for a time, what possible proof can and am I supposed to add?
Also, I sent proof of income and intent to return to Canada with my initial application (to be safe)... will these all need to be a part of the CSQ application as well? I see little in the way of a request proving my intent to return.

Thanks all!

Thanks VatoQChopeful for the help :)

Our CSQ took less than a month - 25 days. For the record it was requested by the visa office, so we sent it by email right after we got it but I would send it anyway, better safe than sorry.

Grizzlyman, the only proof of address besides bills could a Quebec driver's licence.

Yes, but after a 12 year absence, there is no proof... and even if there was a bill or Drivers License, it wouldn't have a valid address, as I have been out of the country for far too long.
This is the issue.. as someone residing outside Canada... applying outland... what address (and proof of such) do others have?
