It's good to find someone on the same boat, i applied for GCMS note last month but unfortunately nothing was started , just medical that is passed, eligibility criminal and security not started yet

You are right.
Since I applied I could not find anyone within same category and there is not much topics about QSW either and I am new to this forum.
I am sorry but I don't know what GCMS note is.
Do you mind explaining in a direct message (if this option is available in this forum)

I received my GCMS notes today and I too don't have anything started except medical which is passed. Very disappointing but at least it's logical since I applied after you.
But I have a question for you: in the section entitled "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT" do you have data in those fields? Mine are empty...

I see. I fear this may mean our files haven't been assigned to anyone to initialize these checks yet, which would move them to the "in process" phase. This SUCKS!

Hi everyone. Can anyone please Help me with my points. I am quite confused but I tried to see what my points will be and I came up with 60pts, No IELTS score included yet.

Nursing (Bach-4yrs) year 2011 Graduate ( as per Quebec Website, internships is recognized
Total hours internship = 2,160/160hrs per week = 13.5mos
28-30yrs old
No IELTS yet

Spouse:
Mechanical Engineering (Bach-5yrs)
7 years work experience
30 years old


No IELTS

with one Child - 1 year old

I know everyone would say why not make Hubby the Principal Applicant, answer is he just can't. He cannot be bothered at the moment to take the IELTS as he's loaded with work and I am more willing to do it anytime.

Please enlighten me on this one. Thank you very much in advance.

I also applied for QSW from US,
My application was received on March 12th, 2014.
Med request and AOR received on April 2014(same letter), Med done on May 5th, 2014
Current status:
1-We received your application for permanent residence on March 12, 2014.

2-Medical results have been received.

Haven't heard since then, it's been more than 8 months since medical was done

Same here, did Medicals 7th May,2014 and since then I have not heard anything form them. They wait is something else.

In that case, i did mine in august 2014 and havent heard anything yet. And yours is may, way earlier than mine .... ottawa is probably focussing on FSW's and EE's for now.
