Hi! My husband is planning to apply for QSWP this April 2015. I know that 'proof of funds' is really not required during the application for the csq, how about during the application for PR after getting a CSQ, do we still need to show proof of funds or not anymore? thanks!

hi guys i dont know if its a good news but i received and email 2mn ago from cic asking me to send the FBi certificate and update my information and also the police certificate, i did sent them along with my application almost a year ago. do i need to order new ones? and can plz help me how to order a new ones i dont remember how i did it the first time. also do u have any idea how long it takes to get the police and fbi certificate? they said in the email that my file has been transferred to ottawa

my documents under QSW program (PEC) was received in Sydney in November, 12, 2014 since then I haven't got my file number. Ten weeks after (January, 24, 2015) I also sent an e-mail to CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca to verify the status of my application and I'm still waiting for a response. I paid a fee online in advance and I can't be sure that my documents weren't sent to me back and were lost.
I was trying to check the status on-line (ECAS) by using my UCI number, but the system doesn't have any records about me and I tried to call to CIC by phone and every time my call to them couldn't be transferred to an agent (a lot of calls).
I'm really concerned about processing time to get an AOR and I know that my case isn't unique, many people have the same issue.

The questions are as follows:
1. Should I prepare one more application under QSW program and send it to CIC one more time?
2. If the answer for the first question is yes, should I request from Quebec government another original version of CSQ for CIC or a photocopy of it will be enough?
3. What else I can try to do?

Hi Evgenii and welcome to the board,

There is no need to panic: the AOR email with the file number takes around 4 months to arrive these days (maybe even more because of the christmas/NY holidays). So I wouldn't start worrying about it until mid/late March.
Your emails and calls won't do anything unfortunately (they take at least one month to respond to emails, and often not saying anything at all).

Try to relax and forget about it for a while. That's the healthy thing to do

Please let me know how to apply for Quebec Provincial Nominee Program and whether I will qualify or not my particulars are as follows:-

IELTS: L=6.5, S=6.5, R=7 & W=6.5

Age= 40

job= Manager Insurance Claims & Underwriter.

Qualifications: Two Insurance Diplomas and Master degree in Computer science.

Experience = 20 years.

Your help and quick and quality advices will highly be appreciated.

I have CSQ and i already applied for federal and got the AOR, but still until now when i check my application statues it's showing "application received"
since two days i got a new baby girl, i will definitely ask for CSQ for her.

Question:

shall i inform cic? if yes, how i will do to whom i should send the document and what is this documents?
taking into consideration that the passport will take at least 4 months to get it.

no, you should have a PR Card, CSQ and some documents, which will prove that you are a Quebec resident

My application was received on March 12th, 2014.
Med request and AOR received on April 2014(same letter), Med done on May 5th, 2014
Current status:
1-We received your application for permanent residence on March 12, 2014.

2-Medical results have been received.

Haven't heard since then, it's been more than 8 months since medical was done

Medical request and AOR received in March 2014 and I did my medicals on 3rd April 2014, it will be a year next month in April 2015 since I did my medicals and it seems that medicals are valid only for a year.

It has been noticed that it takes anywhere between one year to one year 6 months to finalize a QSW app for ottawa. Also, with the processing times increased from 18 months to 20 months, even if you ask, they will give you a standard reply.

That said, I am hoping you will hear back sometime by april end. That would be just awesome.

Could you also fill in the details of the tracker in my signature. It also gives us and people like you an idea of what the processing times are.

Hi johann I'm sure they will ask u for a new police certificate because I submite mine with the application but they said it has to be within 3months, I applied for one now but it takes 14 weeks to get it, so if u wanna go ahead and apply for one it will save you some time
