That wording is the generic wording we had. It appears on everyone's sheet when they receive this letter. We had already paid it. So we ignored it and it was fine. My wife has her permanent residency as of a week ago.

We paid both fees at the same time plus biometrics.that totaled 1650. Isn't that how much you paid? If so, you already paid the fee and are good to go.

Your application
Processing fee ($950) and right of permanent residence fee ($575)
$1,525.00
Biometrics – per person$85.00

It says If not paid yet because it is not required to pay at the time of submitting the application. If you paid everything already then you can ignore that, it only applies to those that waited to pay that fee.

^^This is correct. Just to reinforce, this reminder about this particular fee is automatic, boilerplate stuff. It does not mean you haven't paid - it is a reminder to check that you have paid it. As far as I'm aware all applicants get the reminder, regardless of whether it's been paid.

My medicals, which had expired, have just been re-accepted on my GcKey portal.

Does it mean I should receive portal invite soon?

@ERCAN you had to redo the medical if I remember well, how long it took after you re-passed the medicals to receive P1?

@armoured my application is outland, but I live in Canada already and IRCC knows it. My passport is from a visa-free (eTA) country. What will be the final steps in my case?

We had a request to redo the medical, but it was eventually waived upon my request based that my wife was already in Canada. Keep in mind that IRCC is bad at tracking where you at for the landing purposes. They were quick (2 days) to re-accept our medicals and got the PPR the same moment. Basically in the same letter they acknowledged my request. It was weird. They were like: "Ah? You are in Canada.. ok... your medicals are re-accepted... and btw attached is the PPR..." WTF? But it was a pleasant surprise.. but even though they acknowledged that we are in Canada they still sent us the PPR.. so my next letter was a request for virtual landing switch... so expect that as well.
And btw, if you have good (I mean a really good) reason to request a faster processing, you may mention that in the virtual landing request; our switch took less than a week and the P1->P2->PR took 3 hours. :)

When I was asked to redo medicals last February, we reluctantly redid them (2x so it is expensive) but as soon as it is sent to IRCC, all progressed quickly and we got everything done 1 month later.

I got similar notification on GCKeys. Previously, my medical expired on June 20, 2023. FI, I applied inland on April 10, 2023. Not sure what to make out of it.
  • September 20, 2024 You passed the medical exam.

I have received Portal invite P1 and final decision, how long should it take to receive P2?

Also, when does my status officially changes from temporary worker to permanent resident?
