Do you mean my AOR (File No.)... if yes then yes i got my AOR already after a week while applied in dec'10.

oh ok, u've already got ur aor/file no. so hang on. lets hope that you get ur interview call soon. we see that it takes around 1 yr for the interview call for non-priority applicants.

no harm in sending out an email to the BIQ enquiring the status of ur application.

usually nobody will ask u to include a cover letter.. but it is always advisable to include a cover letter with any application u will make.... the reason for a cover letteris to pre-empt any complication that might delay processing..... u just go over your answers again and identify the grey areas that is/are likely to arose any question 4rm ur reviewing officer then list out all the grey areas and provide answers to them......
its unprofessional to submit this kind of document without a cover letter....... in both my federal and CSQ applications, i included cover letters where i answered issued like y i av included a letter of English proficieny rather than IELTs etc....

BONJOUR GRACE! ARE YOU NOW IN QUEBEC? ITS NICE TO READ HERE THAT YOU HAD A VERY SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION AND THAT YOUR INTEVIEW IS WAIVED. HOW MUCH POINTS DID YOU HAVE WHEN YOU PROCESSED YOUR PAPERS? IN MY CASE I ONLY HAVE 53 AS A SINGLE APPLICANT AND I NEED TO HAVE ATLEASE 2 POINTS FOR MY FRENCH EXAM (DELF A1) FOR ME TO HAVE 55 POINTS..

Dear Egrace,Quebec2011 and sill hope,

At present i am on 58 points without french and given A1 and A2 exam in Aug-11 if i passed both the levels that is A1 and A2 than my points will be 64...
So in that case they will call me for interview or they issue me CSQ directly....

i m from India and applied in march-2011. Frankly speaking yes they can call u for interview

Mostly they send csq directly if u and your spouse passed atleast a2 to b1 at the time of sumbmission of your application or if. Your first or second language ie French.

Thanx

i m calculating your points now

age 16
if u applied on the basis of your Nursing Bachelor then u will get 12+12=24
if u applied on the basis of your B.S Management then u will get 6+6 = 12
english 6
french 1+3
experience 4
financial sufficiency

overall your point if he applied on the basis of your nursing then your points is 55
( with this point they cant reject you application and some time i have seen that before rejecting application they can give time or still u can appeal against this decision )
overall your point if he applied on the basis of your management then your points is 43

so my suggestion is ask your consultant then he can give u your rejection letter and check the reason why they refused your application or if u have file no then contact biq directly and explain your position.

stillhope

Is it possible to apply both management & nursing at the same time? About the financial sufficiency, I have submitted proof of funds from the bank. Thanks! Your really give hope to people! God bless you! :)

u can apply both but nursing is in priority not your management, so if u want to apply again then apply on the basis of your nursing not management.

but first check with your consultant ask him to give u your rejection letter and appeal for your case your own self.
