egrace62 yes oh longest time! I hope life is treating you well. I passed my B1 with 58% :P lol!

Now I will be writing DELF B2 in December 2011. I dont expect to do too well in B2, I expect to pass it with around 70%, its difficult!

I don't understand one thing for Quebec migration that, A single applicant must score at least 49 points
and An applicant with a spouse must score at least 57 points. I am married but my wife will not accompany me.
Would you please tell me which one (a single applicant or an applicant with a spouse) goes with my status and the minimum points that i have to obtain to qualify (55 or 63) for CSQ?

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hey guys just a quick question once again. To those of you who have been called for an interview and faxed or mailed their confirmation for the interview, did the BIQ reply to you to confirm that they have received your fax or letter? I'm just curious since they haven't replied after I've sent them my confirmation a week ago.

Thanks a lot!

after sending fax, i emailed them asking for acknowledgement and they replied very next day.

Quebec2011

if he is taking his wife with him or not he has score 55 point to qualify not 49.

If you are applying alone and she is not gonna accompany you then of course 49 points without adaptability and 55 with adaptability points.

Good luck

@angeleye

I have sent my confirmation through Fedex and e-mail but they haven't replied yet. Fedex tracking says the documents were delivered on Jul 5, 2011 11:40 AM at BIQ HK. I think I'm going to send them an e-mail once again to confirm this. Or else they must think again that I have not sent the proper documents.

@zbwadud

Stillhope is correct. Whether your wife will accompany you to your travel or not you must still qualify for 57 points.

Thanks all of you to response me. Pls see details my points calculation, correct me if I wrong and advise me forward..

Hello
I advise u to take the TCF Quebec exam and not DELF.Delf is more difficult, there are 4 parts, in TCF u have only 2 parts and u can obtain more than A2.If u make the delf A2 it will be A2 and that's it.In TCF u have chances to obtain much more.For example i passed now B2, but i was end of B1 when i took my test TCF and i obtained C1 for oral comprehension and B2 for expression orale.
Good luck and have faith

Hello RICOLUNA,

Thanks for your advice. However, would you kindly advice me how I can take TCF Quebec exam?
I am staying in Bangladesh & learning French in Alliance François.

Munni

Hello Munni

U can have the exam then in the place where u are studying frenc, French Alliance, they do this exam each end of month, 26-27, and is easy.Good luck and keep informed

Guysss pls i need ur help...I finished my university last year, but i wasn't going on daily basis, we have a system called" low frequency', it means that we can go few times, but we have to go 2-3 times per semester for the exams.The number of credits is the same with the normal frequency.On the university diploma is not specified this, but on the supplement that came with the diploma where the grades for the last 3 yeas are available is wrote....do u think this will not be pointed as a normal university diploma 10 pct???
Thks in advance
