Hi everyone (especially solokru and angeleye, egrace, all the CSQ wiz here )

I really need your advise.
I've been visiting this forum for some time now. I am in the same situation above [just found out this morning :-( ] I was just wondering what you guys did or submitted for the appeal or can suggest to me?

I have a Bachelors in Physiotherapy(5 years Univ.), graduated 1999, had 2 years experience in this field (before 2005) another 1 year experience (after 2005), then the rest of my experiences are on business and online freelance work. Hubby has a Bachelor in Nursing, graduated 1998, had 2 years experience in this field (before 2005), then the rest are on sales and marketing. We've both been attending a French class for a month now (not alliance though, cause they only have offices in the Capital city.), we had to transfer our residence to another City near us where the only French class was available - talk about sacrifices.)

Applied Oct. 2010, AOR received 2 weeks after. Submitted all notarized copies of everything including my business permits. Sent them a copy of our enrollment receipt for the French class, IDs with the instructor's name. We've even bought French audio books to supplement our beginners knowledge.

Like Solokru and Angeleye, I'm really confused with the computation.
I've found my hubby's old IELTS score, I know I'm need to send that with my appeal, but what else? - can't really think straight here. We didn't get any points for our trainings?

Niveau de scolarite 6/12
Domaine de formation 0/16
Experience prof. 0/8
Age 16/16
Francaise inter.orale 0/16
Anglais inter.orale 6/6

Conj. Scolarite 2/3

Conj. Age 3/3
Con. Francais 0/6

Offre emploi valide 0/10

Autres facteurs 5/9
Enfants 4/8
Autonomie financier 1/1

I can't even think clear right now...I only have 60 days to comply ... no one to turn to except here...

thanks guys.

any reply is appreciated.

@ Waffle, sorry for the situation that u have here. I think REALLy has helped u understand Y u were not scored on some factors. hhere are some suggestions that u might want to consider as u prepare ur appeal.
1) According to page 22 of Guide des procedures d'immigration which is the official processing manual for BIQs, points two clearly states that if an applicants training is older than 5years as at the time of filing an application, then the applicant must have at least one-year fulltime employment within the last five years preceding the application. since u stated that u had worked for a year after 2005 ( i.e 2006 i suppose) then, there might b a window for u there to get ur AOT recognised.so u will need to provide adequate documentation for this job which u did after 2005, then u can also print-out the page-22 from this processing guide, mark-out the point which suppots ur claim with a transparent marker and attach thses two to a cover letter where u will explain the point u are trying to pass accross.
2) the letter u were sent, is it actually a rejection letter? or is it just a letter of rejection notice.if it is rejection letter without they first sending u a letter of intention to rejection, u can use this to appeal to them for an extension of time so that u can have more time to study ur french and also take an exam. this extention letter must accompany ur response within d 60days. u will need at least A2/B1 yl ur dependant A1 but if capable of A2 too it will b better.the higher the french level u take, the better.but if u had been sent an intention to reject letter earlier, then u will have to justified grounds to ask for extension.
3) dependants are not usually assessed on thier eglish langiuage skills hence the Toefl is of no effect.
4) u can also include in ur letter, a write-up about ur interest in Quebec as well as all u have done i.e the sacrifices u av made just to make sure ur dream comes true.

@ Lirjan,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I keep praying for you guys and I hope you will get your CSQs soon!

I am at the point where I did my medicals last week and basically I am waiting for PPR. I am sooo stressing out and I really want this process to be over soon so I can move on with my life and finally settle down permanently in Quebec.

So guys.. (Lirjan, Shahi, Iceberg, Manoylo and the rest of the crew) I truly hope that we can all meet in Quebec and celebrate soon!

All the best to everyone!
I have finished my medical, they had requested my military clearance and now I am waiting for my visa! :D
(I hope so...) :D

We should party in Montreal when we all go there!

@Shahi: What's up my man? How's new life going?

@Lirjan: CSQ? Got it yet?

Hello everyone, please I need some help, anyone can answer, egrace, shahi, iceberg, etc. If a person moves in the middle of the processing of the CSQ, how do they update their address with the BIQ?

And also, I am a little confused about the classification "Business management and Administration" for areas of training, does it consist of the different kinds of business management degrees like finanancial management, operations management, strategic management etc?

Thanks...

@ egrace - Thank u very much 4 your answer my friend.

I thought I was the only one with this problem but I see I am not alone in the boat. I can see that we both have almost the same timeline for the federal and u are right our files must be the oldest ones in the federal process.
Hope u get the MR soon my friend.

All the best

@Really: thank you so much for giving your "analysis" on my situation, i totally get your point, as i've looked into it already.

@egrace62: thank you very much as well, for the suggestions. that's exactly what my hubby and I were contemplating on. it's actually and intention to reject letter with a turn around time of 60 days. i plan to finish first my french course then take DELF asap, to show them that we are really serious considering the fact that we moved to a different city just to attend a french class, after which we plan to enroll in a french enhancement class after this current program we are in. My question is, do i have to take the exam within the 60 days period in case and extension is not granted?

thank you so much, guys. we are not gonna quit easily as we've come so far and this is for the future of our daughter, we're gonna give all we've got. ;)

No retreat, No surrender. so just keep learning the french and u av to learn fast.even if this dosent work now believe me u still will av another 60days to file for and administrative review of ur file after rejection but not everyone knows about this, so keep learn fast. I hope ur hussie i also planning to take the french too.cos u seems to b speaking in the first person singular tense. pls encourage him to. ur point deficiency is not what only u can contribute. i dont think a canada * Quebec PR/visa will b a bad birthday gift for ur daughters next birthday

4) tell us more about what letter about interest in Quebec should contain and how will it help with the process?

Thanks

Hello Shannone,

I would say that you should not call them. If you are sure that they have received your file and have not yet contacted you this may depend on the number of applicants or other factors that they may have, so it would be better not to disturb them and believe me your application is not at all taking lots of time. Please do check others applications and you will confirm my words.
Just be patient.
