you need general IELTS which is used for immigration purposes and acedmeic is used if you are appling for study permit.

Hello E-grace...i somewhat disagree... yes FSW cannot land in Quebec..but quebec ppl can land anywhere in canada..provided they have proof that they will continue their journey to Quebec!!... i once read Qorax say this... so we might confirm on this!!

i got a reply today from both BIQ HK and Visa office KL that I may land at Ottawa airport and visit one of their offices in quebec after reaching Quebec. They did not mention anythng about showing onwards journey ticket at the airport. So i have decided to land at Ottawa airport itself.

It says: We sent you a letter (convocation) and we want you to take action regarding this letter as soon as possible.

22nd Feb 2011 - Credit Card charged

What next? will i receive AOR?

i am planning to learn French, currently have zero knowledge. Looking for a good institute to join for learning. Do you know which one is good in Ottawa area?

When credit card is charged it means they start processing your application, you will get your AOR with in 1-2 weeks times. i send my application on 17th december still waiting for my credit card to be charged.
