hi,

I had the same problem i had missed to sent one important document which I sent one month later. As I know the first file number is taken as the date of opening of your immigration file. I am not sure but i think our interview would be somewhere in may of June. Let's hope for the best. Where are you applying from? INDIA? I am applying from INDIA

Hey Guys!

Long time no talk! First of all, Shahi congrats!! U deserved it! Lirijan keeping my fingers crossed for you, im also in Vienna so hoping to have my interview in a month or two :)

I just came back from Montreal. I worked there for 4 months so now I wanna update the visa office. I am sending them a letter with the Letter from my employer as well as a copy of the first and last payslips.

I improved my French by just living there. I am going to send the letter to visa office in French.

My question: my previous job which was a management position I was getting paid for in cash (that was my choice) hence I dont have a history of direct account deposits from my employer. I could provide a letter from Social Security Services that I was a full time employee and that the taxes and health insurance were paid. Will that be enough?

Please help.

Thanks so much for your support. Ok let me tell u more about experience in Montreal. It is a beautiful city. Very convenient metro to move around if you dont own a car. Winter may be at times severe . There were days when it went down to -40. So you cant be scared of the cold!!!
About people: French (Quebecois) and English speakers usually do not like each other however both are nice. The French can be a little bit stuck up and ignorant but if you're nice you can get along well. If you dont speak French (again Quebecois French) perfectly, be prepared to work in only English environment. I got a job as a sales representative, I loved the job but it didnt pay much, though it was enough to cover rent and living expenses. Overall, I love Montreal, it is very European and a great city to live in!

Thanks Wings... that was a pretty detailed description.... well i guess i will enjoy in Montreal..!!

Cheers
