egrace62, I actually assessed myself to the least bearing in mind that if I put it on the least scale I can stand a better chance and I was on 64 because am married with a kid which should be enough to get an interview waiver all things being equal. I actually discussed this with someone who works in a bank and he said for a credit card USD is a universal currency as the conversion will be done automatically through an electronic switch. So, I hope once the application is opened I should have something next week by God's grace.
Thanks for the concern. How far with Ghana?
still a waiting game in Accra. i sure hope to get medical request this February. i think d priority stuff is really working for me in accra ( it wasstated in d CSq that priority processing applies i applied as a chemist)cos they have to place me directly into processing when i applied nov 2010. and my Aor stated a maximum processing tym of 5months

egrace62, I attached a letter from my University stating that English was the medium of study and as well wrote a cover letter stating my English language ability also I attached registration documents for French classes with Alliance Francaise with my spouse. Guess this should be enough although I never gave myself and my spouse any point for French although my spouse did French in the secondary school in WAEC but since the exam might not be recognized by them we scored ourselves nothing there and we still made 64 points. I hope they wont probe further on the French stuff and give us a waiver.

@ Egrace

Hi, you spoke about code 130. I have this code also but it does not say priority processing in the caption. Do you think the code itself means priority?

@ egrace. thansk for your input. i guess i'll just go on with the A2 and IELTS exanms and hope i will get the AOR by the time the results come out.

because codes helps to reduce the volume of information, Cic/CHC have standard codes for operational use. as can be seen on CAIPs note. Code 130 signifies that the file is marked for priority and as such quebec will love for them to be admitted quickly. different BIq offices go about it in different ways some just put d code while others both code and meaning. either way the code must b their. those that are not to be prioritized will carry a different code.
Have ufiled ur federal application?

Do u still take classes with AF? i wish to advice that u shld continue with the class. cos when ur Aor eventually comes, they might still ask u to produce evidence that u did not just register for french classes so that u can send ur application. if possible take A1 exam cos if u are able to produce proof of ur continuous study for 3months.they MIGHT expect u to have taken at least a frecnh exam

Hi All,

I became a Canadian Permanent Resident through FSW. However, i love the french language and I have been taking part time french classes at l'alliance francaise for the past year. I hope to pass A2 delf exam before moving to montreal and continue french there.

I believe that though french is difficult to learn,it is a beautiful language to own.

Hello everyone,

I am applying for quebec immigration. Please confirm me if i show that i am beginner in French language and i am learning French then would i have to show any certificate for that? Because as per my understanding, beginners level people cannot take French language tests (i.e., TEF, DILF or DELF etc), so would i have to show any certificate for beginner level or not? If "yes" then what certificate should i show? Because i cannot take any French language tests right now as i am a beginner in it and learning French.

Your usual help required. Thanks

hello leena

Just tick on your form that you are beginner level and take addmission in french class and attach you addmission slip / receipt for your addmission in french class with your document to prove that you are learning french or doing efforts to learn french, then send it to your embassy. It will take 2-3 months to get AOR at the mean time may be you pass your dalf A1 or A2 and send these documents to embassy when they requested.

thanks
