I think there is a court case of supreme court of Quebec which demands to give marks for B1 level also to those who applied before August 1, 2013. There are 50,000 applicants. My question is, is it really being applied (Are marks given for B1 level to those who applied before August 1, 2013?????

Secondly, will the passing marks criteria be 57 or 63 (with spouse)?

hi Dear
m not sure about the points of B1 level of French..it depends upon the officer whoever will assess.bcz in my application they gave me points of age according to old rules (means 2 extra points) and total points (49)according to new rules.feeling really lucky .

yes one thing is sure ,for spouse case you need 57 points according to recent criteria.

You received intention of refusal in Sept 2016 but then CSQ in Nov 2016??? Did you send additional documents to add more points?

yeah i was keeping track of my application bcz i was aware that my pp and ielts n experience ,all things need to be updated and i had already prepared my documents...outright , i received a letter subjected intention to refusal ,therefore ,i updated my docs within one week.

Federal applied as single applicant on 11th october 2016 and file received by Cio on 20th October 2016
Till now I have not received my federal/uci no and I want to add my spouse , I had done marriage on 15th Dec 2016, Adding spouse will increase time period of federal process or not ??
What will be the consequences ?

First you need to reach out to MIDI to get CSQ for your spouse.
Once you have your spouse's CSQ , you will send updated forms to CIC along with spouse's CSQ.

Before contacting with MIDI, please calculate your points considering all factors of you & your spouse. If it is more then 57 then you contact with MIDI with proper documents.

If the point is less then 57, then you should consult with an immigration lawyer. Coz I think if you apply for CSQ of your spouse, then you maybe consider as a duel applicant by MIDI which pass mark is 57.
I again said that I'm not sure about it but most probably your situation will be as like as above description.

I don't know, but you should discuss it with an Immigration lawyer or call MIDI.

you have to submit ielts and TEF alongwith the initial application but not bank statement.

i am also planning to apply. Already submitted EE profile yesterday
1 For quebec pnp we have to submit online application or file in hard copy?
2.When the PNP os going to open as cuŕrently they r full till 31 st march 17.
3. Job ref letters also required initially or on later stage?

Hello All,

Following is my case scenario, please help me to determine what should I do next.

Applied through a consultant:
I got File No. July 2012

After that my consultant told me to wait, wait and wait.

Consultant told me that ministry requests legality of my experience and my spouse's experience, education transcripts which
I provided within time.

Oct 2014: MIDI rejects saying the documents regarding to legality of my spouses exp. were not received, which my consultant claimed that they've got reopened (in dec 2014) by showing that they've sent all the documents in one courier and how come ministry received only half of the documents in that courier.

Following is the text from email received from ministry which my consultant shared with me:

"Objet : Accusé de réception

Madame,

Nous confirmons la réception de votre correspondance datée du 2014-12-18. Le service qui a traité votre dossier assurera un suivi de votre correspondance.

Veuillez agréer, Madame, l’expression de nos sentiments les meilleurs."

Since Dec 2014: Consultant is claiming that my case is open and I need to wait at least 6 months more to know what's happening which I pretty much doubt.

Nov 2016:: I called MIDI to know if my case is closed (I'd like to thank the members of this forum only who told me I can call them directly):: they were not able to confirm if my case was closed - the person on the other end of line told me that there is no such information confirming that if my case is closed.

Please share any email ID of MIDI so that I can mail them and cut off my consultant and communicate directly with MIDI. I want this to get over ASAP so that I know what to do next.

Even if my case is closed I'd like to know and go after my consultant legally simultaneously find another/same program under which I can apply.

Hello Everyone,

I had successfully applied on 16 August for CSQ and got demand No.
Now after reviewing the summary of Application, I came to know that
I had made two mistakes while filling details
1) First Name and Last Name not as per passport (confused last name with surname and family name)
2) History of Last 10 years (wrongly filled status of citizenship, it was by birth but filled from last ten years)

how can i handle the situation?
Please help me.
How can i correct it?
