Yes i have a child but not with my wife, do you think we could declare my child even if my wife's not her real mother? I have 7 years of work experience and my wife has 3 years and she's the PA.
consult to lawyer for child declaration why they did not give you 8 marks for experience.

Hi All,

We've just received a reply from Quebec after we submitted our updated docs and unfortunately it was not a good news. We did not meet the qualified points of 57 and got only 53 as stated below:
Employability (52/111):
Education level (10/14)
Formati domain (12/16)
Professional Experience (6/8)
Age (16/16)
French listening comprehension (0/7)
French speaking (0/7)
French reading comprehension (0/1)
French exp. written (0/1)
English listening comprehension (1/2)
English speaking (1/2)
English reading comprehension (1/1)
English written expression (1/1)
Stay in Québec (0/5)
Family in Québec (0/3)
Spouse Education (1/4)
Spouse Training area (0/4)
Partner Age (3/3)
Joint French Listening (0/3)
Joint French speaking (0/3)
Validated job offer (0/10)

Other factors (1/9):
Children (0/8)
Financial autonomy (1/1)

Obviously we have to take up B2 french class, my wife is A2 and im A1. Does anyone here has the same experience? What can you see as other options to increase our points in this case? We are given 3 months to submit any documents that will increase our points or else our application will be rejected.

Thanks a lot.

As per your calculation how many marks you obtain as present rules?

Sincerely,
Rengie (Cebu Philippines)

Hi All,

Maybe this was a desperate move, but does anyone tried to write a letter to the Ministry of Quebec asking to extend the time allotted to comply with the submission of additional docs? In my case, we are given 3 months to provide docs as evidence to increase our points but the problem is that 3 months is not enough to finish B2 French class.

Sincerely,
Rengie

Hi,

Best is to try to claim for your kid. This may be possible within 2 months (if there are no legal issues ofcourse). This will give you a straight 4 points if your kid is below 12 years.

Other possibility i only see, is an increase in IELTS score may be by say maximum 2 points if you do it well again.

Thanks

Hi Rengiemuelle,

What i feel is, even after taking the pain for securing the eligibility (57 points cut off), you might have to wait for the interview where you might need full 6 points to get the CSQ (63 points). If that is the case, then i would feel it better to start looking at other options (Express entry) to make things work. As we no already, there is no timeline for the CSQ process. So if i was in your shoes, i would have thought about this. This is an open feedback, you can think about it.

The OP should ONLY claim points for his child if the child is emigrating with him.

First of all, may i kindly suggest not to post the same question repeatedly within such a short time frame.? Understand your anxiety, but take your time someone will look and answer your question.
Second, it depends on your total points. It's kind of useless to apply if your total points dont even meet their entry criteria. I hope the consultants you hired have at least given you an evaluation before telling you that.

Hello all,

I got my CSQ finally, after a long time of waiting. I hope you all will get it, too. Some questions asked in the interview:

1- Talk about your field of study.
2- Why Quebec?
3- How many brothers and sisters you have and what they do?
4- Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
5- What do you do to improve your French?

Good luck all and thanks for answering my questions here
