Hello all,

I got my CSQ finally, after a long time of waiting. I hope you all will get it, too. Some questions asked in the interview:

1- Talk about your field of study.
2- Why Quebec?
3- How many brothers and sisters you have and what they do?
4- Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
5- What do you do to improve your French?

Good luck all and thanks for answering my questions here
Congrats on your CSQ
As for filling that PR I suggest you download the Guide Q7000 from CIC website.
Goodluck!

Hi! How was the interview experience?
Our CSQ interview experience
Our interview began little late as the previous person took little more time.. they were very happy because they received their CSQ in hand.. nice people before they leave wished best of luck to us that even in french. I was too nervous as my french at beginner level and really struggled last three months for preparation.
Our interviewer was a lady.. she started with French;; basic communication very professional in behaviour and attitude. Offered water ti drink.. we felt little relaxed.
Started to verify the passport details..and then some questions related to it. Then verified educational certificates and transcripts.. and returned the originals.
Next question was plan of arrival that was in English as we were struggling to communicate in French.
Then asked on why quebec..
Then procedures to register with professional ordre.
After these question answer she told I finished and congratulations... welcome to quebec ...also advised master in french during the immigration process.
Csq printed in two sets and tagged..also labelled one set for immigration and other for Airport...
With lots smile she sent us back and wished all the best for federal part...
All together it went well...
God's mercy showered on us..
Thank u lord
Hope this would give some idea ...
Thank u all

I think it's sad that people are receiving intent to refuse for avoidable situations.May I sugest that even if you do your calculations and you have excess points without French try as much as possible to keep learning the French and if possible do the test and update your file.Considering the sacrifices we may have made it is still worth it to invest in the French. There is nothing like excess points. It's better be safe than sorry. Some people might have gotten their CSQ without the French but that is them.So far as you are still waiting to get it do everything possible go get more points.
Goodluck to everyone and let's be smart.
God bless!

Registration with the order is not mandatory, but here is the website (quite a lot of info in English, but not all):

Thanks. I had a look at the guide, but it seems that it doesn't answer the questions I have while answering the PR application forms. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

@ Newjwel and other active posters

Hi dear all, I just took a look again at our CSQ application, and found a fatal problem which might result in failure in documents screening. Please, everyone, I need some input of advice here:

We applied from Philippines in 2014 and got FN in last August. Our total points are 62 (without French).

Regarding the spouse's history, in our case, the spouse worked for a period of 10 months, outside of her native country, as a Volunteer (teaching, with an internship certificate provided by the organization, the word "volunteer" also mentioned in the certif.)

Therefore this experience does NOT fall into 1) work experience (because it's not paid at all), or 2) work internship in context of studies (because it happened AFTER graduation). The above two categories are the only categories provided by their document checklist, so we do not know this 10-month experience should fall into which one. We only provided the internship certifcate (photocopy) + a letter expressing our doubt. Should this affect us? Will they possible ask for income tax exemption document later? Thanks any ideas are welcome!

From what i've learned from others, they are very strict in screening the documents. Maybe this will be the doom for us. :(
