Hi,

A while ago I was asked to send in some additional documents, which I did. But (bad luck), my documents got stuck in the Canadian mail sorting system. So the letter was sent back to me. I then sent it in again, with an explanation of what happened and the letter from the mail company... But my documents arrived too late because of the incident.
So a couple of weeks later I received a letter from Canada, saying that they reject my application because I didn't hand in the required documents in time.

Does anyone know if there is any possibility to appeal?
I put so much efforts and money into this application and then, when I'm finally there, after +2 years of waiting... this happened. :-( I can not believe it...

Sorry for your misfortune, life could be so unfair and unpredictable.
However, Send a detailed petition of what happened to your document with every available evidence to the administrative review . You have a genuine case, I know you will scale through.Follow this link to learn how you can go about it http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/administrative-review.html

Thanks

Hi,

I've seen some people who are in this forum who sent their application like 2 to 3 years ago and they are still on waiting status. Does it really take that long? I am planning to submit my application this year but i'm still taking French Lessons. I hope somebody replies.

Processing time differs from country to country. You need to find out the processing time for your country and be prepared mentally.

Hi All,

We've just received a reply from Quebec after we submitted our updated docs and unfortunately it was not a good news. We did not meet the qualified points of 57 and got only 53 as stated below:
Employability (52/111):
Education level (10/14)
Formati domain (12/16)
Professional Experience (6/8)
Age (16/16)
French listening comprehension (0/7)
French speaking (0/7)
French reading comprehension (0/1)
French exp. written (0/1)
English listening comprehension (1/2)
English speaking (1/2)
English reading comprehension (1/1)
English written expression (1/1)
Stay in Québec (0/5)
Family in Québec (0/3)
Spouse Education (1/4)
Spouse Training area (0/4)
Partner Age (3/3)
Joint French Listening (0/3)
Joint French speaking (0/3)
Validated job offer (0/10)

Other factors (1/9):
Children (0/8)
Financial autonomy (1/1)

Obviously we have to take up B2 french class, my wife is A2 and im A1. Does anyone here has the same experience? What can you see as other options to increase our points in this case? We are given 3 months to submit any documents that will increase our points or else our application will be rejected.

Thanks a lot.

Sincerely,
Rengie (Cebu Philippines)

2 years ago, then we received a letter from the ministry to update our docs last 02/20/2015 which we submitted 03/27/2015 then we received a reply 05/21/2015 with the bad news. IELTS 6.5

Yes i have a child but not with my wife, do you think we could declare my child even if my wife's not her real mother? I have 7 years of work experience and my wife has 3 years and she's the PA.

Hi All,

Maybe this was a desperate move, but does anyone tried to write a letter to the Ministry of Quebec asking to extend the time allotted to comply with the submission of additional docs? In my case, we are given 3 months to provide docs as evidence to increase our points but the problem is that 3 months is not enough to finish B2 French class.

Sincerely,
Rengie
