Heard this among some Chinese applicants: even if you provide social security contributions, they might still ask you to provide income tax proof/proof of exemption of income tax -- of course this is not happening to everyone i guess.

Here in China same situation too, they only provide social security contribution proof in a PDF version and the notary public here refuse to notarize that since it's considered a copy. So i just provided my income tax proof.

I suggest you can try: 1) ask the notary public in your country if they are willing to notarize the PDF; 2) try to get your income tax proof for 2010-2011 (you didnt mention why IRS in ur country doesnt provide that).

Merci Miumiu! I knew it was a dumb question - Upon further reading I found out I can request income tax proof for 2010-2011 through the mail. Doh.Thanks anyway!

from where do we get the information of pending applications up to now or they are working on which year applications please share if anyone knows.@administration please help us to know.

@Jasvir, i think they are still processing late 2011 (maybe also early 2012) non-priorized applications. Depends on which country you are applying from. Some countries are faster than others.

Good day to all!

Based on my country of residence, my VO is in HK. However, when I click "Reach us" on their site, it says there that skilled workers should submit their application to the ff. address:

Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion
Direction de l'immigration économique – International
Service Europe de l'Est, Amériques, Asie, Moyen-Orient
285, rue Notre-Dame Ouest, 4e étage
Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1T8
CANADA
Fax: 514 864-9221

Which is in Quebec! We all have to admit it's quite confusing....

In relation to this, on the application form "Documents submitted..." there is a footnote there that HK office does not accept credit card payments.

But since skilled workers under HK VO like me have to submit their application to the VO in Quebec instead, that means this is not applicable to us correct? That we can still choose credit card as payment method.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

dear Members,

my e-cas status has been changed to "In process", what's is next.

I will be waiting two months to get the passport to my new baby Girl and inform Quebec to issue the CSQ since they reply to me that they need a passport copy within 90 days to issue the CSQ. and at inform Visa office,

hi all!!!will I have to send a payment when applying for the CSQ?if so..how much?

Hello experts,

I just got my job offer validation. Now when I was preparing to submit my CSQ application, my lawyer told me I need to provide my original bachelors certificate. I was planning to apply with my provisional bachelors certificate. Experts, I need your help here. Should I wait for the original bachelors certificate (5-6 weeks at least) or should I apply right away with my provisional bachelors certificate?
P.S. I have a Canadian Masters. But I don't have French proficiency.

Do not apply with provisional certificates. Apply with original ones because i have seen these people sending files back if the docs are not as per their requirement. dont take the risk. wait until u get ur originals. But when u have completed ur bachelors u shud already have ur orignal with u. don't u??

Hello All...

I have received email to update some documents (diploma, transcript and prooof of tax payment). Other than that, they also ask me to update other changes, ie family, job offer, language certificate etc if applied. My question is: should I update my IELTS? it has expired last year. if I took new IELTS and the score decreased, do I lose point?

Thanks alot

I heard from Chinese applicants who received an email to send over more documents -- basically everything was required to be updated except for IELTS and French test result. Are you sure they required you to update IELTS too??

Hi All,

I am Planning to apply for QSW, please clear my doubts for the same:

1. Is knowledge of french language mandatory.
2. Once getting PR for Quebec, is it mandatory to live in Quebec for some specific time.
3. How much time this process usually take to complete. (I have heard it take 3 years)
4. When they start accepting the applications for QSW
5. How much point need to score, as i have read on some sites and its showing 68 or 63. (I am Married)

Thanks in Advance

Hi

any one from uk who applied federal process in QSW and send application to nova scotia, and waiting for further communication

Hello Priyas,

I believe you should have received AOR by now but if you havent then you should call them.

My app reached on 22nd Dec and yesterday I called CIO to check the status as it has been around 15 weeks and no AOR. Agent over the phone was very polite, he took name, DOB and confirmed me that they received application on 22nd (which is the exact date when courier delivered it at CIO). He confirmed my email address and informed that indeed AOR is not issued yet but he would send the message to the relevant people to send AOR. According to him as it has been over 14 weeks so I should have received AOR by now.

Anyway I feel bit relaxed to get the confirmation that they already have my file with them with data is in the system. Though still waiting for AOR.....!!!

My application was filed 14 days prior to yours and I received my AOR one week ago. According to my timeline you should receive yours around the 7th. Everything is good, they're just extreeemeley slow these days...

Please house what does file is waiting to be processed mean?
