No, French knowledge is not mandatory to apply for a CSQ as confirmed by Lammawitch. I have zero French knowledge but I passed the pre-assessment.

It is the HK office that serves India. I don't know why I am not allowed to post links But you can search their website easily for this info you need.

I have already taken TEF aq test in sep2013. I have been told that Quebec considersTEF aq valid for 2years, is that right?

My major of study is included in 12 points majors.

Therefore, can i apply on April 1st?

If it's valid at the time of application it will suffice!!

It's very common thing& they understand these complications which comes across language tests!

You don't know yet if you can apply on April 1st, the intake period of applications hasn't been announced yet, you may apply if you are PEQ or if you have a job offer. If not you have to wait until the intake period begins, if you send your file outside this intake period, your application will be returned.
About your TEF it will be valid to send if the intake period is before sep 2015, if the intake period starts on October and you send it it won't be valid anymore. Conclusion: wait for the intake period if you are not PEQ Or if you don't have a job offer.

My AOT is on Chemistry

But still there is no official recogonisation. But my agent says that they phoned them, and they said my file is opened andfile no. will get very soon.

Bonjour!

Ok, a few more dumb questions:
So it sounds like a printed PDF is not considered "original", even if that's the way the authority provides them? While I had the IRS sent me proof of my tax payments for 2014-2011, they don't go back to 2010. I'm going to submit proof of social security contributions from the Social Security Administration for that year, but they only provide the proof as a PDF document. Should I have it notarized?

Also, any thoughts on whether the application form and/or required documents will change once the intake period is announced? Has this happened before? If so, how long was the delay? I heard on Ici Premiere that they were reconsidering immigration legislation, but that was earlier this year, so I thought it surely wouldn't affect this application cycle!

Heard this among some Chinese applicants: even if you provide social security contributions, they might still ask you to provide income tax proof/proof of exemption of income tax -- of course this is not happening to everyone i guess.

Here in China same situation too, they only provide social security contribution proof in a PDF version and the notary public here refuse to notarize that since it's considered a copy. So i just provided my income tax proof.

I suggest you can try: 1) ask the notary public in your country if they are willing to notarize the PDF; 2) try to get your income tax proof for 2010-2011 (you didnt mention why IRS in ur country doesnt provide that).
