Hi,

Looking at the previous responses, i get a feeling that Social Security contributions in India means Provident Fund. Since, they have specifically requested me to send Social Security contribution statements issues by government my next query arises.

Today, in India PF is mainly maintained by Trusts formed by Companies. Until 2005 or 2006 there used to be a PF slip from government each year. Now, we do not have that. Only online statements of PF contributions per year.

What to do in this circumstances?

Can any one help?

Thanks & Regards,

I did get the statement from PF office when I withdrew all the amount from them. They stamped the statements and gave summary. I submitted this along with the ITR-V forms. This worked well for me.
Another member got a statement stamped by just requesting it from local PF office in Kerala.
May be you can check it

Hi,

After looking at recent posts, it is clear that for applicants, who are currently residing in India, they do not prefer ITR-V forms. THey specifically request only Social Contribution certificates. For a salaried employee, this would be only the PF. Since, inbetween, we had the NSSN (National Social Security Number) distributed atleast to the IT folks which is linked to the PF, this can also be one of the proofs. I found that these documents, where just sleeping in my house, and today i found in internet what does NSSN mean :-). But now they have UAN... not sure if it will replace NSSN.

So, hopefully, for any future applicants, there is specific indication in your document request letter, not to send ITR-V or Acknowledgements. So, please do not use this. Check your PF contribution and this should help.

Thanks & Regards,

respected all,
i am an applicant for canadian immigration through quebec skilled worker program. i got my CSQ, and applied for visa processing. processing is still on and my medical for visa is finished. recently my marriage got fixed. i am planning to get married by next month. my consultant tell me that getting married on these time will get effect my processing adversely.
my question is:
1) if i get married before getting my visa , how it will affect my processing?
2) when i update my data of marriage, before visa, whether it will either delay my processing or cancel my processing?
3) if I update my marital status or spouse data, even if i am not adding my spouse as an applicant now, will it affect my selection letter (CSQ)?
4) if i am getting married after getting visa and making updates after marriage will, it affect the processing ?
5) what is the safest method of marriage without losing my selection letter (CSQ), or without delay in processing?
6) if i am getting married before landing quebec, what all should i do to carry forward my processing

i am inviting your king attention on this matter, and expecting a favorable advice as soon as possible
thank you

Do you think all these things that Quebec Gov is doing is strange:

->Retroactive the new rules to people who apply 1-2 years before.
->DELF rules state that anyone with total 50/100 with no scores in any part lower than 5 is 'passed' but the rules favor only people who can 'LISTEN' and 'SPEAK' only. For some professions like researchers, journalists, ect. their writing is generally stronger.
-> Some people were put under 'FRANCINASATION' (given 12-18 months to provide B2) while others are not.

Why everyone is not treated equally?

Hi all,

hi! ive read the case of somebody who got married before landing in quebec in this same forum (different thread) and from what i remember, her csq and visa were cancelled (hers was way back in 2008 or earlier). it seems to make sense that the quebec govt will apply the point system to both you and your spouse as a married couple, and not just give your spouse a free ride with you. i think they will have to re-evaluate your position with your spouse if you get married. despite all of this, i am hearing from some people that their immigration agency says it's possible to get married after csq and before visa issuance, however, i haven't heard of anybody who actually shared this particular experience and has successfully immigrated to quebec. in this regard, i think it's still best to wait until you land in quebec, then get married. landing seals your position as a permanent resident.

I'm in a tricky situation right now. I've been living and working in Quebec for 5 years, and I applied for the CSQ through the PEQ (Experience Quebecois) last September. My final work permit as a temporary resident expires on October 25, 2015.

To cut a long story short, I was rejected because I sent them my TCF results (B2 for oral expression and comprehension) after my initial application date. I didn't realise you cannot re-apply for the Experience Quebecois. The rejection letter invited me to apply for the regular Skilled Worker program, but I was looking through the application forms for that, and there is a checkbox that says your working permit must be valid for a year or greater to apply from a country outside your country of origin.

My work permit was originally valid for more than two years, and when I started the process with the PEQ I still had more than a year left, but now I'm down to 7 months. Is it still possible to apply from Quebec??
