Is there any contact number or email id of nova scotia office nimber.as I had send my application in oct but still no update.this quebeac process is tooooo slow .

delay is about 4 months and 4 days for AOR from Sydney, they are currently dealing with October demands, so you should hear something soon.

As i am a July'2012 Applicant from India & Have received the AOR in Nov'2012. Since then a Long Waiting....

But yesterday i Called Montreal Embassy For the Status of My File & Then i came to know that they have sent me an Email in July'2014 and asked for some documents and because of Non Submission of Such Documents in 3 Months They have rejected my file.

But i was in Some problem last year and haven't checked my Email.


So, kindly guide me is there any way out that my file could get re-opened. Because it has already been more than 2.5 years and if will not happen it will be a long waiting again as well as Ielts and French exams will also needs to be submitted once again.

Please Guide in This case on Priority Basis....Your Guidance/Support/Post Can Save My File/Case...

Congrats on the arrival ur angel,

I will ask you to send documents and payment to Midi and ask for her csq.
When you receive it, send it to cic.
If you inform cic , they will keep your file aside and restart again when you send the csq.

I will suggest ask for csq and when you got apply for fedral process after you got ur passport stamp . Because if you inform fedral immediately then again you have to wait

To my understanding, a profession has to be related to aot to be given points for experience. That being said, how come you claim 8 points for both profession?

MIDI will consider the profession you initially applied in your application. I dont think it is in anyway possible that they gonna shift from one aot to another if the latter is not the profession you are practicing at the moment.

I think MIDI will consider the profession you initially applied, however about work experience Quebec does not say it has to be 100% related to your AOT they say the following:

Work experience

Your work experience must have been acquired:

legally in Québec or abroad, in the five years prior to the date of submission of your application for a Québec selection certificate;
in an occupation with a skill level above "D" as defined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC)
Level D occupations usually require a brief demonstration of the work to be performed or on-the-job training. They do not have any particular educational requirements (e.g., a job in a fast-food restaurant).

The work experience can be acquired on a part-time or full-time basis in paid employment.

Internships (paid or unpaid) carried out as part of training recognized by a diploma are accepted as work experience.


Of course it will be up to them to recognize it and give it points or not.

Hi I am a QSW Applicant at Singapore Visa Office.

CSQ received - Jun 2013
Visa application - 26/07/2013
AOR (Sydney) by email - 23/09/2013
AOR (Singapore) by email - 25/10/2013

Current Status: We received your application on 26/07/2013.

Recently they have updated the federal processing time as 36 Months from 18 months

Anyone has further updates on 2013 applications?

After CSQ, is it possible to go to Quebec on a student visa and pay the local fees + waiting for the Federal part????

3 years waiting for just federal seems too long......
