Your husband's co worker is a good example that the processing time may vary. In Phillippines, step 1 in processing would take 40 months then 3 months for step 2 and maximum of 9 months for step 3, so thats a total of 52 months just to get the csq. And about 7 months for the federal part.Miumiu said:I see... No, his co-worker who applied in 2013 was not affected by the Typhoon at all... He's from the philippines, but he does not reside in the area that the typhoon hit.. And i'm not a nurse.. Nonetheless, 40 months is an awfully long time for waiting. Now i hope we would have applied FSW. We cant apply for both FSW and CSQ... sigh sigh....
If your husband's co worker will be interviewed this september that means it took only 18 months for the 3 stages instead of 52 and thats because he's a nurse (priority aot). Therefore the processing timeframe they listed in their website may or may not apply to you depending on many factors like your AOT and also depends on the officer reviewing our files. But lets all stay positive as theres a big chance that things may go quicker now because the program is already close so that will give them more time to process more files
