i am also from india. i got birth certificate in english format from city munipal service. so i have request to you ask to near maunical office for issue certificate.

Even I got it from local municipality ,try that.They give birth certificate even if you are born before 1989.

I apprpached them, & as per records they maintain there is difference in year of birth.
You know I am from small village near ambala and birth at that time were not registered properly and accurately.

Please help

Is there any way i can provide alternate way which is acceptable.

Do you have your 10th Transfer certificate
Certificate of Non-Availability:
When a birth certificate does not exist, an affidavit of birth should be accompanied by a "Certificate of Non-availability" issued by a competent governmental authority confirming that the birth certificate does not exist. There is no set format for certificates of non-availability, but the document must indicate the reason the record does not exist, and indicate whether similar records for the time and place are available. If a birth certificate is not available and the FAM does not specify which documents should be submitted in place of the birth certificate, acceptable alternative documentation (in addition to the certificate of nonavailability) includes church or school.

ask them to provide a brief job description on their letter head it works but do not think any sort of relaxation they are very mush stick in rules now a days, I send them my previous employer job description on a separately latter head.

I have a photocopy of duties list with the signatures of 2 my reporting managers. however, I have a previously issued experience certificate which lists the duties on letter head signed by my manager and it's dated 1 month before the date of resignation. Do you think this will work?

yes Quebec8899 it works, but send them original otherwise a copy attested/ verify by your previous employer.

Yes it is acceptable and even i called them before sending and this was suggested by them.

Yes Jeanlby i have 10th certificate with indicates my DOB & my Father name on it.

Finally, I got passport request. Journey is almost done.

Hopefully in Montreal by the end of the year or before.

I have applied in Dec 2012 for the QSWP and received the file number on Mar 2013. I have applied from India and Visa office is Hong Kong.

Still waiting for the interview.
