Any idea on how long it will take to get further communication after AOR for those who applied from within Quebec? Mine is 17 th April 2014 AOR

It depends. If you have permanent job validation with your application, or If your AOT is in priority list then 6-8 months or 10- 15 months. These are current processing times.
As per immigration consultant, the processing times are decreasing constantly. So with luck expect it to be soner.

Why not they give CSQ quickly . There is another 2 or 3 years for faderal what kind of immigration system it is???

The answer is complicated and also I presume that most of us know why. They want to delay or permanently avoid a particular geographical citizens to become PR as these people may not fit in the culture. This is evident in not having any missions for these geographical regions for long time. A simple YES or NO would do but they never say it they delay it, change the rules meanwhile or ask for NON important or non existing document to further delay or deny the CSQ. This is politically correct game.

Even for in land applications, any immigration document (WP, CAQ for Work, study, job validation) etc with a different sounding Name would take unusually lengthy processing times. THIS MY FRIEND IS BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

ALL WE CAN DO IS WAIT.

So they should stop immigration process.
If they realy need people they must process fast. I think they didnot like people immigrant to canada.

I think you are quite lucky and immediately update Quebec immigration authorities about you change of country of residence. All you have to do is just fill the form and submit a copy of your UK Work visa and inform that I am currently residing in UK. They will change your BIQ to Paris. And you get ready for your interview cz BIQ Paris is currently working and calling applicants for interview. They are currently calling, I think May 2012 applicants so you should be called soon.

Its much better to change your BIQ Hong Kong to BIQ Paris if you could do so, and yes you can!!! So just Go ahead with it. Good Luck!!!!!

Thank you Mr Khan for your encouraging reply.. I will do the same as you have suggested. I hope we all receive our CSQ very soon.

By your time line I think that you did not get priority. If you submit the permanent job validation and give letter from your employer or if they considered your wife's AOT, they would have given the AOR in 2 months.
All priority applicants got their AOT in less than 2 months for inland applicants. For you I think they took 5 months so this is not priority.

Not sure you are right?

I got my CSQ, Quebec nomination, in September 2011. 2 years and 9 months later and I'm still waiting for the final PR from the Federal processing----and I am white English with a very English surname! (sincerely, I mean no offence by this but I think it get what you are referring to in your above quote).

The delays are frustrating and without any logic but I doubt they are being unfair to certain groups of people; just all of us!

May be I am Wrong.

But I just compared the application process ( From Inland) for me and others in same category in my office and I see a lot of difference in processing times. I got them at the end of the day, but took unusually longer periods of time and a lot of calls to MICC.
For others they just got in couple of weeks.

hello
second my opinion
you have just to send to the existing responsible office for your demand , the up dated adress and tel no .
after that it is the office that have to reply to you on the matter what to do ...
for. ex if you have other resident country which means the place you have lived for the last 6 months.

I hope this is useful

Points you mean for QSWP or for FSWP?

Also take into account that in order for a delf b2 be treated as "b2" you have to get 15/25 in each skill otherwise they downgrade the diploma to b1. (For QSWP)

Gods grace..
my CC has been charged by IMMI Quebec..App recd on 04-Feb, CC charged 09-Jun

Usually I have read in this forum that after receiving AOR only they charge, not clear I am right or wrong.
Not received any e-mail or letter by post from them so far, would appreciate comments on this..

Noo.. You will receive AOR after getting charged.
