Please update about your visa office.
And most importantly Good Luck with your application process and hoping for your success!!!
I think you are quite lucky and immediately update Quebec immigration authorities about you change of country of residence. All you have to do is just fill the form and submit a copy of your UK Work visa and inform that I am currently residing in UK. They will change your BIQ to Paris. And you get ready for your interview cz BIQ Paris is currently working and calling applicants for interview. They are currently calling, I think May 2012 applicants so you should be called soon.mdammalli said:I have been waiting for nearly 30 months for my CSQ, but when it is high time that interview could be sceduled soon, my bad luck is that unfortunately I'll not be here to attend interview.
I'm moving to London on 28th June on work permit for 1 year, do I need to update BIQ and request them to transfer my file from BIQ HK to UK?
I have not got any updates from BIQ regarding my CSQ interview so far, I'm a 2011 applicant.
Someone please suggest me.
Thanks

I am also applicant of 2011 :'(. Have you contacted with visa office for more information about your file
yes my my friend they are asking for updating of the file and re-calculating the points as per new rules. I also receive email in which they did not ask to update french certificate but I will send with my reply soon because in NPI they clearly mention if applicant doesn't meet the required points grid will be refused directly.darshmodi said:Hello Friends
It can be seen that now some of the Asian applicants are getting email for some documents requirement like salary slips,ITR and birth certificates.I have come across 2 cases one is from Jan 2011 and another is from March 2011.
So my question is that is there someone who has also received some communication like interview intimation or documents requirements....
Please share your status so that we can come to know what is happening and can be prepare for upcoming event.
And Last but not least question is that if some one is getting CSQ direct he or she in intimated by BIQ before that.

As per my consideration they can not calculate your points according to new rules because one of my friend who send his file in the month of Nov 2010 was given points as per the rules prevailing in Nov 2010 so don't take it easy and fight very strongly otherwise you know it is very hard to get points as per the new rules.
And secondly did they mentioned in your email or letter that they will imply new rules on your application.
Please share your details if possible..

1. As I am on study visa , do I need to change my passport name before filing for CSQ... it's not mandatory to change your name in your passport unless you change your name.
I will file CSQ as married so will this affect my study visa as on that I am single.,, no, it will not affect your study visa bcoz you got your study visa when you were single. If you get married before you apply for csq then you need more points to cross the threshold as compared to points require for single. Well, If I am not wrong, your course started on january,2014 which is of 2 years duration. So, you might not be eligible to apply for csq unless you cross the half duration of your course. In other words, you will be eligible to apply as principal applicant after 12 months of your study course.
Please read the points mentioned below:
To be authorized to apply for a CSQ under the regular program for skilled workers, during your stay for studies, you must:
have come to Québec with the primary goal of studying here and hold a Certificat d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) for studies and a valid study permit, unless exempted by regulation;
meet all the conditions of this certificate and permit;
pursue or have successfully completed a secondary level vocational training program of 900 hours or more, a college studies program, an undergraduate university program of at least 12 months, a graduate program, i.e., a master's or an advanced graduate diploma (DESS – études supérieures spécialisées), or a doctoral program;
have completed at least half your study program, if its duration is less than 18 months or it is a graduate level or doctoral university program;
or
be 12 months or less from the end of your study program, if its duration is 18 months or longer.
3. after getting CSQ Can I apply for PR from my home country or Do I need to be in Canada? You can only be eligible to apply to visa office of canada if you live in canada for last more than 1 year.

I have concern about the Law and I know a person who received same latter for updating the file, he didn't ask to send french and IELTS certificates so he couldn't be able to send, he was a Feb 2011 applicant, he send updates as per letter he received but he didn't send french and English certificates just after update the file he receives a latter of refusal (a day before yesterday) that he do not have sufficient point.
I am referring you to the NPI which makes clear all the doubts if you have.
