to trackit22:

Don't forget that you need to do the writing exams now, it is compulsory as from yesterday. The immigration told this last year. I phone immigration last time they said to do tef no tefaq as I will loose points.

hallo,

Any 2011 Middle east applicant have been called for interview? or informed to be ion the waiting list?

asking about non-priority cases.

one month more and I will celebrate the 3 years anniversary... >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Jimmy80 - wish you all the best for your application. You should expect to be called soon for the interview, as i could see that they are processing the applications for January 2011 now in the Middle East ( as per the quebec qouv website: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/immigrer-installer/travailleurs-permanents/demande-immigration-general/demande-immigration/delais-tableaux.html#damas) so keep your fingers crossed and all the best.

Hello jimmy80,

i would like to ask you a question, since your case is somewhat similar to mine.

First, here is my current situation:

-Quebec application sent 10 September 2011.
-AOR received 3 October 2011 (Office: Damas/Montreal)
-TCFQ results C2, C2 AND IELTS overall 7.5 sent 18 October 2013.
-My file was updated with TCFQ and IELTS on the 26th of November 2013.

And of course i didn't hear from them at all and when i did call them, they said my file is complete and everything is normal, still not a single action has been taken regarding my file, nothing...no processing, no waiting list of an interview date...nothing....nada. :-\

Here's my background:

Age: 30
Male / Single
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science
Working field: Information Technology 3+ years experience
My brother holds a Canadian Citizenship and my sister is a Canadian Permanent Resident
I Currently reside in Egypt

The question is, i've got a job offer outside Egypt (currently i'm not working, so i really need this job), it's in Dubai. Now if i take the offer and send them an update with the change of the country where i reside. Will it affect my application in terms of more waiting? change of office from damas to Abu Dhabi? i read somewhere on the canadian immigration site that the waiting after csq is received average 14 months, and 36 months for Abu Dhabi. Thank you and if anyone knows something about changing the country of residency while waiting for CSQ please reply to my post
Bacteria - good luck with the job offer, don't hesitate, go ahead, you are so close to be called for an interview, and don't worry as Abu Dhabi has almost the same waiting time as Cairo/Egypt. so you better update the file as soon as you get the residency in Dubai. here is the link for the processing time:

thank you for your reply,

Maybe since 6 months or maybe more they are processing Jan-2011 applications and no changes nothing received from their side.

it's almost 3 years since I applied and I know many who had applied before me and they didn't receive anything from the MICC.
either they are as usual sleepy or they will consider our applications as backlog and return back the fees paid three years back.
ciao

to be very frank, no one can answer about interview waiver. As it is not certain. completely depends on visa officer.

Sorry I believe was a wrong statement. You won't lose points, unless you need the point to get an interview. 49= interview

Hey I got my AOR today. It's written BIQ New York on the last page. Does it mean my visa office is New York ?
