please somebody give a good news, everytime i read the thread everyone is suffering from, waiting waiting and waiting, it seems the whole BIQ is enjoying holidays inspite of working on our files.

If my receipt was shown "Pour: BIQ - New-York".

Does this mean my file is being process in New-York office? Or all CSQ application are process in Montreal office?

Dear, for pakistan,36 months for csq issuance and for federal, it is 14 months processing time.

so you mean overall 4years atleast

The question is, i've got a job offer outside Egypt (currently i'm not working, so i really need this job), it's in Dubai. Now if i take the offer and send them an update with the change of the country where i reside. Will it affect my application in terms of more waiting? change of office from damas to Abu Dhabi? i read somewhere on the canadian immigration site that the waiting after csq is received average 14 months, and 36 months for Abu Dhabi. Thank you and if anyone knows something about changing the country of residency while waiting for CSQ please reply to my post

you should update them offcourse after getting the PR in Dubai, your BIQ will remain always the same Damas/Montreal, and later on your visa office will be Abou-Dhabi.

i really don't know if it will affect the waiting time for your application, and if yes, it will not have a big impact comparing to our waiting time,almost 3 years.
i know that nowadays it's not taking more tha 15 months to get the visa thru Abu-dhabi, but you know everything can be changed to the worse with these canadians.

i would like to ask you a question, since your case is somewhat similar to mine.

First, here is my current situation:

-Quebec application sent 10 September 2011.
-AOR received 3 October 2011 (Office: Damas/Montreal)
-TCFQ results C2, C2 AND IELTS overall 7.5 sent 18 October 2013.
-My file was updated with TCFQ and IELTS on the 26th of November 2013.


And of course i didn't hear from them at all and when i did call them, they said my file is complete and everything is normal, still not a single action has been taken regarding my file, nothing...no processing, no waiting list of an interview date...nothing....nada. :-\


Here's my background:

Age: 30
Male / Single
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science
Working field: Information Technology 3+ years experience
My brother holds a Canadian Citizenship and my sister is a Canadian Permanent Resident
I Currently reside in Egypt

according to my info
u will not be able to process from abu dhabi office except after being one year in abu dhabi
so if they reached u (quebec) with the CSQ before a year u will process from cairo office but is after a uear u will have to submit from abu dhabi

if any opinions please provide

Dear you should wait sometime as some of the earlier applicants has also not recd. Their AOR.
Hope you receive the same soon.
