I'm not saying that I applied for QSW just to transfer to another province when granted PR. I'm just saying some people are considering that idea.

I am not saying you want to transfer, I am telling you to practice and learn french as much you can ;)

Hi guys
I have 58 points according to the new rules without french proficiency and adaptability , can I apply ,and provide the french test results at the interview?

You can apply and provide french test results at any point later. You don't have to wait until the interview to provide your french test results. If you score well before the interview, send a copy of the results to add to your application.

Thank you very much my friend. I heared from someone that at least A1 is needed to apply even if you have sufficient points without french and got confused

Get a chilled glass of wine and devour it. in the days ahead, You will receive a letter showing your file number and dossier number mentioning amout deducted, number of people included in the application in. Then another waiting for about 1.5 years before you start thinking of interview call, except you are a nurse with B2 french.

Bonjour everyone,

We sent our joint immigration application to Quebec 10 months ago. Fedex confirmed the delivery in January 2013. But we didn't heard anything back from the immigration bureau, not even a file number.

I understand that things may become slow with the new process but is a 10 months delay normal?

Thank you.

Call them up. Your AOR might have gotten lost in the mail. It's stated in their website that one is supposed to get an AOR in 4-6 months.

In continuation to our recent correspondence, dated 30 th September 2013 on Quebec – Selected Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) legal proceedings against the Quebec government and the Minister responsible for Immigration, we would like to inform you that there has been a recent changes in the Canadian Immigration services.

As per the new findings, the option to speak to any customer service agents regarding status of the application has been removed and only information pertaining to education is been provided by the Immigration authorities.

Therefore, we request you to have patience and wait for the further updates from MICC office.

Thank you for your replies. Do you have the phone number?
I have been thinking of calling them but I am not sure they are willing to share such "sensitive" information over the phone since they cannot verify my identity.

I tried mailing them using the email address I provided in the application form but they didn't reply yet. Hope they will do soon. If not I will call them.
