What is GPI? I also got AOR it is One year One month and twoo weeks, no word from them. My Country Cameroon has a selection mission this Nov. Inspite of my B2 in Speaking and listening of TEF. I think I will surely hear from them when the next missions will be out from Jan,Feb,March. So Patience is the rule of the game. Cheers

GPI means Guide Immigration Procedures. It is the Immigration procedure set by the BIQ for immigration. for skilled workers the latest document is GPI 3-1 (September 13th edition). for further information go to http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/statistics-publications.html click on guide immigration procedures and download GPI 3-1

You should take the exam to get the diploma.. Not the diploma that is given after completing the course..the entire course runs for 5 modules and each module runs for about 2 months

I encourage every applicant to check this link, particularly the "plans and statistics part" it will give you a better idea how and when applications from your region of the world are processed and most important what to expect for upcoming days.

Hi All,

My cousin applied for CSQ and she got AOR and payment receipt after 3 months but she is confused because they have written her maiden surname on payment receipt, which is not mentioned on her passport after her marriage, however she has written her maiden surname with full name in previous name coloum because her all educational docs have maiden surname.
now plz guide what to do? should she write them to correct it or this is there way to write applicant name.

Regards

Ken

Hi,
My friend is a CSQ applicant . He has received today feom his lawyer the following e-mail:
Quebec Immigration just announced on 8 October 2013. If any applicants who has not received the interview notice, files will be evaluated under the new rules. Also, they will give a maximum period of 18 months to provide the B2 French test (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) for both principal applicant and spouse.

AOR received in July 2011 fiel number 451xx

:o
I don't agree with what this lawyer has said. The only people who are evaluated under the new rules are those whose file has not begun to process. What is begin to process? MICC explain it in detail on the site. Receive a interview notice is not the only one of the FIVE cases.

Hello,
I planning for applying to Quebec Visa.

I have some doubts for which I need your help guys.

As per the new rule, the qualifying points for dependent is 57 and pass mark is 63 (adding adaptability points 6)
Now as per my initial point calculation I am getting 61 points without adding any points of adaptability out of 6.
Also in those 61 points I have not added any points for french proficiency.

Now here is my question:
1) Once I clear the passmark 63 lets say i get 2/6 from adaptability that makes 61+2=63 for me and i do not have any points for french language, then will I be able to clear the interview and get the visa. ( i am aware that interview would be in french so i will clear atlst A2 French).

2) Does Quebec PR Visa offer to stay anywhere in Canada, specifically in Toronto? from the next day we register and activate PR card?

3) The final interview is held only in french or they may conduct in English also?

4) An individual must reside in Quebec in order to maintain permanent resident status and to apply for citizenship after 3 years? or he can also claim citizenship if he stays in Toronto for 3 years under Quebec visa?

Looking forward for your replies.
