Hi! I want to ask a question about the SSS. I downloaded mine online, would it still require a signature from the SSS office or can I submit that as it is? One more thing about the payment, I do not have a credit card, I was thinking of paying it in another way. Is cashiers cheque and managers cheque the same? If I pay thru managers cheque can they withdraw in Canada from any bank there? What about bank draft? Would really be grateful in your inputs. Im a newbie here. Thanks in advance
I am from the Philippines by the way.

I did. You need official transcripts for each diploma you want to evaluate and degree copy certified by the school or by the authority responsible for issuing diplomas. You will need to pay the fee too and fill out a three-page form. In addition, you will need a copy of your ID. Then you will need to wait about a year. I submitted mine in June and was told to wait at least 9 months.

Is WES evaluation applicable in quebec or they have a specific governing body to evaluate credentials?

In Quebec only the evaluation by MICC is accepted

hello,
what is comparative evaluation?

A piece of paper delivered by MICC, it states what your diploma is equivalent to within Quebec educational system. Without this paper, most jobs are closed in Quebec. I was rejected for bank cashier post with a British PhD because I did not have comparative evaluation. It takes about a year to get it.

Yes I am fluent in french otherwise I would not bother coming, because without French even cleaner jobs are not available.

ok then it is in process now, which means under the thorough study to either call you for interview or give waiver, did it became " in Process " before Aug 1st or after ? or you dont know ...

moving to other province so hard, you must stay at least 1 year in Quebec, because you must give them reason that your not lucky you didn't find job etc..

also recently they are forcing applicants to sign paper that they will live and work in Quebec ;D

so if you plan to leave quebec at least you need to spend a year, by that time youll learn French :P and ull spend all ur money :D
