Hi friends,
Recently I rang the Montreal office for query regarding my file. They told my file is open now and being processed ..and I asked abt the processing time she said its 2 and half years for non priority files and currently they are dealing with November 2010 files .I asked her what about priority as my occupation is nursing she told it will be lesser than regular files but didnot mention the time..I decided not to think abt CSQ now as there is a long way to go and am gonna carry on.......

Hello Jenalby,

I'm Vijay working as a Senior Quality Consultant. I request you to provide your inputs to my case. I filed my application on July'13 in Hong Kong. It was rejected due to non availability DELF A1 diploma certificate. Again, I sent back the application along with the requested A1 diploma certificate. I got my file number on 1st week of April'13. I don't know when I'll recieve my Visa Interview. For your information, I filed my application as a Mechanical Engineer since I'm a Mechanical Engineering Graduate. From the blogs, I came to know that you are working along with of Y-Axis. I'm also working along with the Y-Axis. Can you please tell me when Ill get the visa interview based on your experience. Also, can you please tell me how you contacted the Quebec Immigration. Thanks.....

Hey guys,
I am quite new on this forum, but my observation shows me that most of you are quite ahead of me regarding the QSC. I need to be helped, am preparing to submit my application for a QSC, from the information available from the various sites, am getting confused, where are am i supposed to submit? To Montreal-Quebec directly or to the Visa office in my region-Nairobi?
I would be grateful to get your take on that . Thanx
Agatha

Hey Signalmaker and Umer,
You said something like one can contact MICC and request for dossier number if he/she has received an email that confirms payment receipt. Am I right?

I am in this same situation because i received an email about a month ago from MICC that they have received my payment for CSQ application. But the email did not contain any dossier number nor reference number. I have checked all the 4 corners of the email and didnt see any number.......Can you advice me to call them? It is almost 4 months now since I applied.
If there's a number that I can use kindly let me know.

Submit your application directly to Montreal. Check out the correct and exact Montreal mailing address on the MICC website.

As a tip, try to submit your application before July 31st because so many rules will be changed.

What's your AOT?

Respected seniors, actually my case is something different, I have sent my file in march 2012 and they returned me back that file in may 2012 with reason “your consultant is not registered with us, kindly contact the other registered consultant or process your file own”. That letter had the dossier number and reference number. I sent my file again in march 2013 and I also mentioned the dossier number in new forms. Now I got this email with blank dossier number. So will they consider that dossier number? If yes why they haven't mentioned that dossier number in this email?

My experience is saying if u process your file own that is much much better than consultants......

Hi kool_007dude, I received the AOR with the Dossier number and you should have got one too. Check with them. I have same qualifications as yours but with many more years of experience.

i have a little small query, if I update my file with :
1- Change wife profession

Can anybody advise if it will affect badly on the process time, they will consider the date of the update as start of the application and I have to wait another 24 months?
Please I need a real answer without feelings ;) , I mean real experience
Thank you for your help

Sir,

We received your e-mail concerning the requirement for standardized tests of language skills.

Here are some important points with respect to the new requirement that came into effect on December 6, 2011:

Applicants under the regular Skilled workers program who wish to obtain points for their knowledge of French (principal applicant and spouse: maximum of 16 points) and English (principal applicant only: maximum of 6 points) must include the results of a language skills test taken in an establishment recognized by the Ministère when submitting their application.

The originals of attestations of results must be enclosed with the application for a selection certificate and must be dated no more than two years prior to the application reception date. Otherwise, the application will be considered incomplete and returned to the sender.

Points for language skills are now awarded solely on the basis of the results confirmed on the attestations submitted by the applicants.

If you choose not to submit an attestation of results recognized by the Ministère, you will not obtain any points under the Language Knowledge section of the selection grid. Applicants who do not submit results must indicate this by checking the appropriate box in their Application for a selection certificate.

For more information on this subject, you are invited to consult our Web site: result.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/competenceslinguistiques

Any new immigration application submitted under the skilled worker program must be sent to our offices in Montréal as of January 1, 2013.

Hi lemans,
Wish you a good day. You have mentioned in a mail that in your interview you showed some documents to the VO about the your knowledge and information regarding Quebec. I would like to know that, were that documents in English or French. I mean Which language documents should I prepare for?

And by the way, I am a Bachelor (4 years) in Computer Science & Engineering and Masters in Business Administration (2 years) with 6 years full time experienced in Information Technology field. And now am working as Information Technology Manager in a local private company. What does your assumption say about me?

do not call as they will not give such a personal info at phone, just send them an email and wait , they may take long time to respond and may take one day, in my case some emsils one day and some emails 4 weeks ..
