I dont know why you have only 61, you have masters degree both of you, unless if you r wife's area of training is not in demand at all.

Anyways your age and IELTS and Master Degree and having one Child are more than perfect !, and you still need 2 points to get 63 in total and have waiver apportunity.
But one can get these 2 points so easy, so if they were so buy to make interviews :) and decided to enhance the idea of canceling the interview, then i dont think they will call you for it.
By the way if you have time, you can make A2, and resend it back ( if you had time to wait for 120 days for certificate ), then do it and by that i dont think they will select you to interview at all.
One Question here: have you sent the original copy of A1 ? or only the attestation ?
We both are from IT background -Computers/Software. We sent original language certificates. They mention that originals are required.

the medical is valid for 1 year, so you must get the visa b4 medical expires, some cases it expires and they as you to take again.

some said that now they give you additional 3 months .

Did you get medical?
thanks. I have my CSQ interview this month, so hoping that I get the CSQ and start federal processing.

I was looking at the federal processing times and it say 13-17 months, I was shocked! I hope it is not really that long once we submit police and medicals.

You are right leman. Normally they give within the medical expiry limit unless they are too busy. Also once tgey issue pr visa allpicant needs to fly within that limit aswell. I.e. if they issue visa and if the medical expires before landing than the whole medical and police peocess needs to be redone.

Reg

thanks for that information - I did not know that.
So assuming that I initiate the police/medicals in april itself, (after my CSQ), then I will be able to send the medicals/police by june first week. After this, they will take 2-3 months for processing.

Am I correct in understanding the whole process?

Need Expert Advice

Greetings from Kuwait. I am aware that you all have shared in depth information on Quebec immigration procedures, however I'd highly appreciate it if any of you could help me answer my questions. They are as follows:

1. If i decide to imigrate to Quebec, I require to live in Quebec for 2 years and then I can qualify for citizenship, correct?
2. After i receive the citizenship, am i free to reside/settle in any other province?
3. Do I need ILETS and French test scores OR only French?
4. What is the minimum ILETS score requirement?
5. What is the minimum French score requirment?
6. What are the categories for Skilled Workers that can qualify for the Permanent Residence?

Please forgive me ignorance on the lack of information i have. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Rakhee.

Hi,
1 is correct
2 is correct, but never let them know your intentions
345, U need french and english tests, and any score you can, if you intend to claim points from them. without them, you can still apply if u meet the threshold points....but french in particular will add more weight to your application....which is to your own advantage.
6 go through this link http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/applications-receipt.html

Dear All,

So I sent my CSQ application to my BIQ exactly 2 weeks ago and it seems they have charged the credit card already, is that normal?

Hello,

No, not really that is actually quite fast! please let us know when you get AOR. Did you send English and French results in your initial application?

Hi Master,

No French we only sent English, we start our french classes this week. My BIQ is also Mexico.

Thank you StyLove for your feedback. I plan to take up French training immediately for the application process.

On the other hand, do you have an idea of the ILETS score accepted for the Federal Skilled Worker Category. I believe it should be as follows:

Listening: 7.5
Reading: 6.5
Speaking:6.5
Writing: 6.5

Can you confirm if the above is correct?

As long as you have at least a band score of 6 in all areas you can apply for federal.
