hi,

i reeceived my AOR since Aug 2011 and i'm still waiting :(

She would be priority as you are. He gave 12 because her degree is not a Quebec degree or an equivalent degree ( must be proven via assessment), but even without that she stands a great chance on interview waiver and CSQ processed as priority.

Hi Kumar,
her AOT like i verified should be under 16 points on the Grille Synthese...or why do u think otherwise?
then Experience 2 years should give 4 points right? not 6

please let me know your judgment

Hi Seniors and friends :)

Can anyone please help me to find an accommodation to rent with furnished so when i reached to Quebec with my family in Montreal airport i can go to the rental place instead of a hotel. Waiting for your reply.

THANKS you for any advice and suggestion.

Regards
Nuvin

hi, these points are mere assumptions buddy since we only use the grill supplied to us for self assessment, it is a different scenario in the eyes of the assessing officer as we are talking here about foreign diplomas. but in general , base on these given data she has a great chance of having her interview being waived considering her aot is in priority and she has an intermediate level of the French language.

Hi to all.

Please can you help satisfy my sister's curiosity!! Lets have a points calculation for her....thanks:

She is single,with no child.

Age: 28

AOT: Nursing Science, 4 year Bachelor, three years ago

Work Experience in same field: 2 years

IELTS Speaking: 7
IELTS Listening: 6.5

TCFQ Comp Orale: B1
TCFQ Expres Orale: C1

Financial self sufficient.

Thanks and pls help me see if what i gave her as points is OK and if she should be thinking of priority treatment.

Thanks Pals
Hi there,
Your sister is priority due to Science in Nursing. I am a Nurse my self and completed my Nursing in US. I received my AOT in 3 months and then 2 months later I got my CSQ without any interview. Keep in mind I claimed no French points and I do not have any job offer. Your sister has a good level of French, therefore her case will go smooth and quick. I believe they are short on Nurses that is why everything was expedited. Good luck to you and your sister.

How long does the Federal processing take after we submit medicals and police clearance?

Hi Alex.
your case makes me alive, since i am also in that line. can u PM me? got lots of questions to ask u.....and thanks so much

Hi nuvin

Check kijiji.ca and go to the area you want. You would also like to see jobs and used furniture as you are new to the place.

the medical is valid for 1 year, so you must get the visa b4 medical expires, some cases it expires and they as you to take again.

some said that now they give you additional 3 months .

Did you get medical?

You are right leman. Normally they give within the medical expiry limit unless they are too busy. Also once tgey issue pr visa allpicant needs to fly within that limit aswell. I.e. if they issue visa and if the medical expires before landing than the whole medical and police peocess needs to be redone.

send me your email to my inbox and i will send you a file of expected questions in french ..
the interview can be 30-90 minutes, and can be done in any language but if you claim french you should show your level ..
however, it is said that only the certificates will contribute in the judgement, at least after the new rules in december 2012, but anyways you should show some interest in the language ...

Thanks Singalmaker for your response.

As per our understanding, we have only 61 points now. What are our chances to get the CSQ? I have only DELF A1. Will that be sufficient?
Age : 31
Degree Master's
Work experience : 8 years
Spouse : Same profile
IELTS Band 8
Child : one of 2 years

I dont know why you have only 61, you have masters degree both of you, unless if you r wife's area of training is not in demand at all.

Anyways your age and IELTS and Master Degree and having one Child are more than perfect !, and you still need 2 points to get 63 in total and have waiver apportunity.
But one can get these 2 points so easy, so if they were so buy to make interviews :) and decided to enhance the idea of canceling the interview, then i dont think they will call you for it.
By the way if you have time, you can make A2, and resend it back ( if you had time to wait for 120 days for certificate ), then do it and by that i dont think they will select you to interview at all.

One Question here: have you sent the original copy of A1 ? or only the attestation ?
