They said that I needed to call them as my application requires special handling. I'll call them Monday. Has anyone have any idea what this means? I'm afraid that my application got rejected... :(

Dear,

You EMAIL cannot be answered and needed special treatment, NOT YOUR APPLICATION :)))) dont worry and sleep well from now till next Monday ::)))))

they dont answer people in email for important info, as for privacy and security and this stuff..

at the call, she/he will ask you about some info like from where you sent the application and FULL address where you live to make sure that you are the right person of the file ..
and most likely they will say just wait a bit and call us next week or next month ..

Don't be afraid, just call to this number 514 864-9191 and ask about your AOR. MICC folks attend calls very nicely.

Hello Everyone !!

I have applied for the Quebec immigration. My file was submitted on January 30, 2013 and i got a file number March 22, 2013. How long should it take for the next step which i guess is the interview if i am right ? Just for your information all, i have applied from Los Angeles and it's joint application for me and my wife. I hope you guys would give me some reply.

Thanks

Venkatesh

Hello Friends,

I applied in Jul-2011, received AOR on 31st Aug 2011. After that, I updated my file with DELF B1 and IELTS results. As I can see, New Delhi mission is in Apr-May, and I haven't received any intimation. Keeping my fingers crossed for a positive update in next few months.
How about other candidates applied during Jan-Jun 2011, any update from HK office?

Thanks,
Kaps

Hey Venkatesh,

That's good news.....u got your AOR in less than 2 months!! That is wonderful. Where are u located(BIQ) and what was your AOT? Would u mind sharing your timeline? Thanks

Hi Stylove,

I think is would be quite difficult for us to give you an expected timeline as your case is already unusual, Usually it takes about 4-6 months to get AOR and case number, at the rate you are going its seems they are already treating you as priority ;D Please share your total timeline and your AOT so we can understand your case a bit further, are you an American citizen or Green Card Holder?

that's equal to interview waiver since her French is B1 and C1
GO GO GO!

Hey Islandbabe, i dont seem to understand you....maybe you misunderstood me as well.....the profile i just posted and asking for points calculation was for my sister which is also similar to mine, but she is still to file for CSQ, which i did ealier this march. for my own case i havent received AOR yet since its exactly 1 month i filed for CSQ....then i was also asking Venkatesh for his/her profile cuz it seems he'she got AOR less than 2 months....do we comprehend each other now islandbabe?

Hi Kumar,
her AOT like i verified should be under 16 points on the Grille Synthese...or why do u think otherwise?
then Experience 2 years should give 4 points right? not 6

please let me know your judgment
