Hi, what do you mean by 'interview in the new rules'? I think it applies as it used to.

yes we applied in September 2012 still waiting for AOR.

@ Nyla anum

Really, you too is still waiting for your AOR from CIO? What day in September did your application reach CIO, NS?

I wonder what could be possibly wrong that we haven't received our AORs yet.

Thanks.

Hello,

what i know is that after they changed the rules in December 2011 and asked for Language prove, then the Interview is not part of the process, and those who applied after that date do not make it, and only who applied before make the interview.

is that right ?

That would be sweet ;) but I have never heard of that.

Hi mkshah, thanks a lot. I will land in Montreal and will move to other Quebec cities if I do not get job.
My application was filed by lawyer, thus I am unaware of the exact point allocation that we claimed.
My age was 26 at that time, highest degree - MSc, AOT = 0 points, work experience - between 6 and 12 months, fluent in both English and French (confirmed this by talking at the interview; no language tests). No relatives in Canada, no job offer.

In December 6th 2011, they changed the points stuff, and put the language inside it, so that this decreases the number of interviews they make, But they didnt mention that point .. it is kept implicitly to be understood, this is what i was told from some lawyers in my country ..

that was one step to reduce the process time..

but we still need to hear from others in the Forum ..
