QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Guys,

I rang the Canadian Immigration Office in Paris a few days ago and was told that I have been issued the CSQ. Now I plan to apply for the visa with my wife, whose documents were not included in my application. Any one with this experience to share with me or advise me on this?

Well, it has been very fine, I'm currently back in my home country after about 6 weeks stay there, to return back finally at the end of the year. I didn't do an intensive search for jobs since I wasn't finally staying back but made progress with one of the few applications I put in because I received a call and later had a telephone interview and was asked to notify the IT recruiting company as soon as I return back to Canada and ready to start work. So in my opinion, the prospect is very high for IT jobs and am trusting God for the very best.

I applied for CSQ in Last February 2012 and got AOR on March and I submitted my TCFQ Lis:A1 & Sp:B1. Now sometimes studied with french with self practices. I am BSc. in Computer Science & Engg. (4 years) & MBA -Finance (2 years) from Bangladesh. Now I am working as IT manager. Should I need the credential evaluation of my all educational certificates form MICC or any other authorized body before getting CSQ / CSQ interview? Pleased suggest me.

I think it would be better to inform your situation to BIQ Paris, because then they may arrange the interview anywhere else or help to arrange the visa.

apply again, france so easy to visit apply to itally spain greece

get chingen visa , u can go to france

Well, I'm still in the process of getting my credentials evaluated by MICC and with recent trend of the FSW process where credential evaluation is now a requirement, I will recommend getting ones credentials evaluted as soon as possible, you will recall that Smallie had the evalution done before the CSQ interview and it must have helped with the adaptability points in some way. In my own case I will only evaluate my Master degree because it is in IT and that's my current area of practise.

Now you can't check the number of applications received for group 2. They were continuously updating till 28th June,2012, But after this date, they removed the "number of applications received for group 2" column from official website page. I don't know whether the cap is applicable now for group 2 or not because nothing is mentioned in the website.

The number of applications received till 28th june,2012 were 676.

We have recently had our interview in Paris and would like to share our experience with you.

The officer was very friendly and although I indicated that that my level of French was intermediate, 80 % of the interview was in French.
She asked us to show her our documents from work, education, and proof of relationship. She took a copy of our tenancy agreement and some other documents. She asked us what we do for a living and what we would like to do in Quebec, if we know what opportunities we would have in our fields. We talked about which city we would like to live in, and our previous travel to Montreal. She also asked us for proof or our trip. After this she turned to my spouse and they started to speak in French. He is a beginner, so they quickly switched to English. We showed her our research on the labour market, job postings, applications and responses, and potential employers. After all, she asked me to list the common values of Quebec which I did. After that she smiled and congratulated us for getting the CSQ. We couldn't have been happier.

All I can suggest to you who are waiting for an interview is to prepare well, read about Quebec, learn French and bring all your documents.

I also had an excellent French teacher who helped me prepare for the interview. If any of you are applying from London, I am happy to pass on her details, please feel free to PM me.

Finally, I just wanted to say thank you guys, I very much appreciate the support I got on this forum, keep up the good work and I wish all of you good luck with your application.
