Since you have your visa stamped, when are you planning to land in QUebec? Which is your area of training? Do you have kids and what about the schooling?

Thanks for the concern, this time next week I would have landed with my family to settle them down before returning to land finally later. I've got two kids and am seriously considering that in choosing an accommodation since they will have to school in the neighbourhood.

My NOC is 2172 (IT) it is clearly indicated against my profile.

I also have applied in feb 2012. And I can realize that I have the NOC is 2171 but now I have Certified Training on Oracle Database from Oracle University also.
But i have not declared any NOC in my application, because I have applied in January 2012 and at that time I did not find any section with this NOC code. So I left the application without the NOC code.
Is there any effect in my case for this? Or this is considered by VO during the interview?
I have got only 1st AOR, but no letter with this NOC request from them.

Great! Mine is a kind of similar NOC. I have 14 years of experience in Telecom Software. Currently a Senior Manager and my wife is also in the same line with a similar experience. We also have two kids. So, your case is almost similar to mine. Good to know this. Which country do you belong to? I am in India. I applied in Nov 2011 and got the AOR in Feb 2012. But after that no clues.. probably next year by this time, i should have done my interview. Did you go through the interview? I have close to 61 points without considering my AOT since, i have Telecom Software experience which is not related to area of study (Instrumentation engineering). Therefore, i did not give any points. Though my wife is the principal applicant, she is not doing her French. It is difficult since we have small kids and therefore, i am doing A2 now and then my wife will start.

Is it very close to cic,accra? 2. What did final evidence of your tax remitance? 3. Where do you think i should centre my preparation on based your own interview experience.

I have sent my full documents including all Work and education docs + TCFQ certificate and IELTS ... and I also paid the government processing fees and everything, my file was received in Montreal immigration office on July 29th - It has been almost 2 months and I have not received file number ...

Can anyone tell me how long will it take for new applicants ( that are eligible under the new rules passes in Dec 2011 and on June 2012 ) to receive their file numbers ? and to what office will the portfolio be forwarded ?

moreover, is there any clear picture how long will it take to complete the processing time and receive Interview note / or medical...?

In regards of work experience when does it stop counting? when you first send your application or when your first receive your AOR? for example I will have 46 months of work experience by the time I send my application for QSW but as we all know it takes a couple of months to receive AOR, will I get the max points
[8 pts] once I accumulate 48 months while my application is still in process? does anyone know? Thanks!

I bet that you are good already since you have your AOR, they must have classified your NOC base on the job description you filled in your application otherwise they would have returned your application if your AOT didn't meet the required one for QSW. Just be at peace. Even with the NOC stated, during your interview it will be verified again as one of the interview questions because it will be indicated in your CSQ.

Well, I'm a Nigerian. All of us that applied before December 2011 change are lucky because applications could be submitted without French certificate and that's what you are benefitting now, please try to have our wife start preparing for French now against your interview because as the principal applicant she will be scored more points for her French ability than you will be scored. I have said it before on the forum that the effort one puts in learning French also count because our interview officer said oue French wasn't that good based on our expressions during the interview that we should continue learning French against our landing in Quebec but we meritted the CSQ. With the emphassis on languages now it is important to try to get as much point as possible.

In regards of your likely interview date I believe Mkash, Osamar and others have done a good job in analyzing the pattern of Hong kong VO interview scheduling using applicants AOR file numbers, application dates and the interview mission schedules so if you look into it you should be able to get an approximate interview mission schedule.

I'm of the opinion that the interview scheduling system will improve with the March 29th change and as soon as the backlogs are cleared.
