Just got my request for medicals today! Along with the medical requests, I also got my RPRF fee and passport request.

I got the request via FEDEX, no email this time. I had previously sent a prepaid FEDEX bill along with my US police certificates a few weeks back so their request was via post.

Felicidades!! For what I can see on your timeline your application has been moving pretty fast.

Gracias amigo. Indeed it has moved quickly. On my second AOR it stated that if everything went well the application could be resolved and visas issued in as little as 6 months.

I'm going to get the medicals done asap but still have to work on getting some more police certificates. Coincidentally one of the ones I'm missing if from Guatemala.

Saludes and good luck to you.

The thing is, I'm the one who obtained good TEFAQ score which gives me 12 points ( B1 Listen & C1 Speak), also i have more than 5 years work experience, but my wife has just only 1 year exp during the last 5 years and she has IELTS good score but she has to refresh her French and apply for TEFAQ and this might take about 3-4 month......That's why i need to be the applicant......

If you are not in AOT then you should not apply, I would suggest you should try for Federal Skilled worker where they have open this time for all the occupations fallin in NOC A O B.

Hi All,

I Applied for QSW two months ago (early July 2012) and i received a mail letter from them stating that some documents are still needed (with all my documents back); in the letter they said " Demande incomplete de certificat de selection du Quebec" and they send a list of the documents needed . But i am a little bit confused about their requirements:

1- they send me a N° ref. ind. : C000000 ( is this mean a file no. and my application is being processed or it is just a reference number for their records?)

2- In the list they sent; i have a few questions:

a- "Vous avez deja un dossier en cours de traitement : nous ne pouvons pas considerer cette nouvelle demande de votre part."

I neither applied before nor have a file number .. so i didn't get what does that mean ?

b- "Original rempli et signe du formulaire Demande de certificat de selection
(A-0520-AF). Utilisez la derniere version du formulaire, que vous trouverez a: "

I filled the English version ... is it necessary to fill the french one?
I Sent my application as single and they didn't write "not applicable" on the spouse (i didn't get it)

c- "Photocopie Iisible des pages du passeport contenant les renseignements
personnels et la photo."

i already sent a copy of the 1st page of my passport ( in which my name and all my data is) and i don't have any other visa ... so what else do they need ?

d- "Photocopie du permis de sejour temporaire valide."

what does it mean ?

e - I paid by credit card and they said payment refused and i have to pat by cheque in the name of Minister of Finance

does that mean that i won't get back my money ?

Thanks in advance for helping,
Waiting your reply as soon as possible.

Hi!I just read through your message. It is quite interesting because you said most of what they have said you have either sent them or it is not needed. What is your BIQ?May be you should just feel the ones on their website now and resend the application again.Enclose a cover letter to explain your stand. They might have given you that number to identify your file when you send them again. Most times,it is better you send a bank draft. It is relatively convenient for them. What is your profile,if i may humbly ask? Thanks

@solaomosebi,

Congratulations on the receipt of your MR, that shows that you are edging closer to your PRV. Here is wishing you the very best in the rest of the process.

Hi,

I had a quick question. Do quebec applicants have to give two interviews? i.e one at the CSQ stage and another interview after the medicals? Thanks

Hi All,
Is there anyone from India who has been called for the November 2012 mission in New Delhi. Except for VickyRocks (who is ofcourse from Pakistan i believe) no one else is called from India or this part (India & Pakistan) for their mission. Does that mean, people who are not part of this blog are called? I hope we should have already received the invitation for the interview if we are part of the mission this year? VickyRocks if i do not misunderstand has his/her interview on November 23rd. And he was called two to three weeks back. Which means this mission is already close for all of us!

Any views from Seniors?

Thanks & Regards,
AMR2011

Usually interview is only required at the CSQ stage though a few people get a waiver based on certain criteria and that will mean no interview at all up to the point of receiving visa.

Hi 4Glory,
Since you have your visa stamped, when are you planning to land in QUebec? Which is your area of training? Do you have kids and what about the schooling?
