As per general rule, NO immigration program accepts the part-time study even if there is any official letter saying the duration is long enough to claim.

So in my humble opinion, i don't think you can claim points for it.

Thank you Indian4mSA. I understand your conclusion, but I can not find anything clear that says they will not accept part time study.
some people had distance learning degree in this fourm and claimed points for them (but they were in in FSW)....

Dear Amirjs,

Refer to GPI in point no.: 3.3.1.1 Critère 1.1 : they use the term "FULL TIME(temps plein) for all the education Diploma/Degree so in my thinking Part time study can not give any points.

Seniors please comments.

URGENT

I am about to apply for CSQ. No one was answering to my question so I am asking again. PLESSE HELP ME.
I got post secondary diploma in Business Administration. In the english translated version my diploma is written as business administration.
This one is not on the AOT. Is it different from Business management that's on AOT?
Am I getting 0 point for AOT? In my country, Business administration and management are the same thing so I am very confused.

Hi Seniors,

Can I submit my application?
I have 56 points and I am short of one point.

What will happen? If I submit the application?

waiting for your reply.

Thanks in advance

The minimum is 49 for individual applicants.

@koreantoquebec,
Why don't you write an email to BIQ with your question? Typically, they respond in a week's time.

Best of luck!

Hi kumarpk,

Do you have knowledge of French? If not, why don't you first sign up for basic French course at the nearest Alliance Francaise? If you and your spouse pass DELF A1, then you will earn 4 more points. At that point, submit your application and continue learning French for at least DELF B1 level. I am sure, you know that you will need total 63 points including 6 Adaptability points later at interview stage. As you can see, learning French is absolutely necessary in your Quebec project.

See the following text, which is taken from Québec immigration website: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/french-language/country-departure/index.html

Québec considers knowledge of French an important selection criterion for immigrants.

Immigration candidates with insufficient knowledge of French to be selected may be referred to certain language schools.

After you make your decision to immigrate to Québec, enroll in a recognized French language school and increase your chances of being selected.

Good luck!!
