Sure..

"We have reviewed your application for permanent residency in Quebec and thank you.

We wish to inform you that your case is awaiting a decision from an immigration consultant. We will communicate with you again when a decision will be taken.

We wish you the best."
Hi respect,
This means that your file is complete with all documents (there is no missing doc, else you would have rcvd letter for submitting missing documents) and your file has moved ahead from waiting queue. It is reviewed by IO on the basis of your credentials and docs submitted by you and and now its status is "pending decision by IO".

You will soon be notified about the decision by them.
Just a quick question here.
Can u share ur edu and other related details for quebec immigration here, such as ur work exp, french/english proficiency etc.
Congrats and Good Luck to you for decision on your file. :)
Keep sharing with us about status of ur file.

I just got another letter from quebec immigration today. this is what it says in short..

"nous avons pris connaissance de votre projet d'établissement permanent au Quebec et vous en remercions.

Nous tenons a vous informer que votre dossier est en attente d'une decision de la part d'un conseiller en immigration. Nous communiquerons de nouveau avec vous lorsqu'une decision sera arretee.

Nous vous prions de recevoir, Monsieur, l'assurance de nos meilleurs sentiments. "

I don't know if this is usual. is this another AOR of some sort? i already got one AOR last month. Anybody has any idea.. is this usual?

Hi All,

I just got a similar letter from BIQ Paris. My consultant has adviced that thsi means we are waitlisted for interview and that the interview date will be communicated shortly, most likely in the first quarter of the new year. Glad to know that it also signifies "no missing document". Please can the seniors in the house advice on interview preparation? Links on sites to refer to will be most appreciated.

Hi raj, I read ur story. It is very sad that u could not make it to FSW noc category.
Well, regarding the details of docs for QSW, pls refer to list of links provided by forum member ambi1775 in reply to ur ppst.
Pls check the link for documents checklist and if u r not clear about any document or other detail, surely we are here to help you.
I wish u Good Luck for ur application :)

Btw, can u share ur basic details for quebec immigration?

Raj,

Click this link http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/biq/hong-kong/dcs-workers/index.html and download the 2 Forms "Application for a Selection Certificate" and "Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency"

Then visit this link for rest of the forms and info on supporting docs. http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/biq/hong-kong/dcs-workers/list-documents.html

its best to make a checklist of all the documents that you need to collect. If you're married or have a kid, have another column for them in your checklist and check each itme off as you collect it.

since you were an FSW applicant, you'd know most rules of the game. everything needs to be notarised, no blanks - only N/A.... stuff like that.

good luck.
