Hello All,

Today i just received one dossier from Government Du Quebec from HongKong.
I think its AOR but not 100% sure.
Congrats, yes this is the AOR.
I'm wondering if the AOR was in Englsih? Or did you translate it here?

Hi Everyone,
I live in Montreal and applied for CSQ (Skilled worker category). I submitted my CSQ application on 30th of September in person. And it has been more than 1 month and my credit card hasn't been cashed yet. I am starting to wonder how long is this supposed to take. Is this normal to take 1 month to just getting credit card cashed? i am guessing i will have to wait for my AOR longer. Any guidance on timeline for CSQ is welcome.

Thanx

one thing is sure...
All actions have consequencies either good or bad and we must be prepared to face the consequencies of our actions either good or bad.

2) yeah some pple have used the quebec route as a means of entering canada and we are yet to earn of any action taken against them. but does that make them right? i dont think so... Quebec is the size of 6 Europian contries put 2gada and 3times the size of France.. this island has some problems and it need us to help fix it.. while at the same time we gain economic reward which to me is fare enough... why then will i wanna jeopadise my future and those of my dependants... well i only av been in Canada for a week now but i also will like to inform you that some pple dont even av papers anymore eventhough they ones have... i dnt knw there offences though...
and beleive u me, the government of Quebec can take up a case with anyone who signs the declaration of Intent to recide in Quebec... this is a declaration we were all asked to make now i dont think this declaration is meant for decoration.. that is the big stick they can use to kill anyone.. Quebec is a great place... Montreal is nice... i wonder where some who leaves montreal will now go ( Ontario?) ... well people are moving, no problem,... but that doesnt make them right... and i hope that they will be earger to also share the ugly side of their story when the time comes...... people are in Canada but i hope they will be bold enough to also share the secret thinhs thay do to stay alive...
having said that, i dont think STILLHOPE deserves to be addressed the way KLM addressed him (uuuh i hope i wont recieve my own big stick as well :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D. well if i do, it wont hurt cos i now av a job to soothe the pain)
Cheers pple

ok guys,

syed_h_sha

visa office for federal - Buffalo
no i didnt ask him how it works too nervous! but I think its 6 months max and 9 months absolute max. I suggest you contact them by email to find out why the delaty with priority processing. maybe someone somewhere is not doing their job.

mkshah
Age - 20 - 30
Occupation - IT Analyst
Education - Masters (e-business), Bachelors (Computer Engineering)
Work exp - 1+years

He began the interview in french. he told me the more french i can speak, the better for me, that I can swicth to english but french is better for assessment. He asked me if I have ever been to Quebec and what steps I have taken to ensure insertion socially and economically into Quebec. He asked for original copies of all my documents - go with every single original as they request to see more originals than what was requested on the interview convocation document. The only time he switched to english was when he wanted to assess my english skills.

My biggest advise to you is buy Quebec movies - its a virtual tour of quebec, you learn more about Quebec and improve your french at the same time. When I told him about one that I have watched and how I wanted to visit where it was shot, that said all the right things!

Hey Egrace,

Thanks for sharing. I am so happy for you. It just goes to show that being humble will surely lead you to the success that you deserve, just accepting a job that can meet some of your needs.

All the best on your searching for a $40,000.00 job I sure hope you get one for $50,000.00.

My BIQ is montreal too and I don't think it matter whether we live in Quebec or elsewhere. the Timeline is similar for most of the BIQ applicants except those in priority processing.
My credit card got cashed in 5 weeks exactly and I got the AOR by e-mail in 2 weeks after charging my card.So I think you should be expecting your AOR this month :)
