I'm gonna tell my current employer that it is to get a bank loan. So in it I can ask them to include my designation, my salary and how long I've been working there, but does it also need to contain my duties? I also have the pay slips but they are just computer printouts, will they be legitimate?
And I'll keep your advice on mind for the previous employer.
