i've got one question about the "Right of Permanent Residency Fee", please.

I have been reading all around here, including the CIC Website, that it is recommended to pay the RPRF along with your Processing Fee.

But, i also found a "Payment Form" which must be sent along with the (in my case) bankers draft 550$Can,
but i haven't found any form for the RPRF. how do i proceed with that one? Signing up for the 550$-deal only, or send a "combined" Bankers Draft of 1040 $Can, (550+490) and they'll figure it out by themselves, ....or 2 separate ones, but having only 1 payment form. (?!)

in whatever way u so chose to go about it, it is a win-win situation. u can never go wrong with either.but bif u will want to pay the RPR-fee along side the processing fee, try to pay with two drafts. one for 550 and the other for 490. as for the form, u wont need to include it again if u are paying the full payment. just ensure all drafts are labelled accordingly............rgds

I send both separate DD as mentioned by egrace but don't forget to write down your name and address on the back of your DD.

I'm going to submit my application soon. My only concern is the payment of fees? How are we going to pay? I have asked my banks and they said that they need bank details of the beneficiaries. While in the BIQ Hong Kong, they only say payable to the Ministry of Finance of Quebec.

I would appreciate any advices you have regarding the payment of fees.

1. Do I need to provide any other documents with these?
2. What are the info that should be specified in the service letters?
3. Is it fine if my previous employers service letter is dated to the current date?

that is all u need.. Ministre des finance du Quebec.... it is a foreign draft and not a wire transfer hence they do not need any other details.... then as for u interpreting the beneficairy in English, well i maintain a sealed lips :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\.
but i also know that it wont cost u more if u leave the name of the receipient without translating to English.... after all we all want to learn french to go to Quebec.... pls dont get me wrong. i have not said ur translation is wrong.... just telling u to play it safe.... u never can tell

I already have my appointment letters. normally, employement letter+ payslips and confirmation of appointment letter will do. if u think ur job will not be at stake if ur employer knws u plan to leave them, u can go ahead and gt it. but if it will, just attache ur payslip to the employement letter and u are ok

Is it fine if my previous employers service letter is dated to the current date? it depends on the wordings and the tenses used in the letter. but any ( either backdated/current dated) will do. the only diference will be just that if the letter is currently dated, then it should as a matter of necessity be addressed to ur BIQ-office. but if back-dated, let it just reflect a general outlook in such a way that it can be used for other formal things
