In the past few days.. i see a lot of Pakistan and Phillipines nationals being considered. Seniors did you find this trend before, do they work country wise. Also, in the processing times, i could see Pakistan and Phillipines timelines as August 2010 but i think. all others have to wait!

Is my assumption correct?

AMR2011 actually the case is that they are clearing pending application for the year 2010-2011. They still have piles of applications for the countries like Pakistan and Phillipines etc.. Similarly the rest of the countries will be coonsidered accordingly.

Good luck for your CSQ, do well, show interest, they are ready to give you CSQ, they are giving you chance.
They dont want to refuse you, so do prepare well and help them to accept you ;D

Hope in Damascus office will work fast, almost to years waiting my interview :'(

congratulations my friend the same happened to me after 1 year and 3 months I received the same email but after this emailo you need to wait for 6 months for appointment date . in my case the letter saying that i have been chosen for interview was 18/11/2011 and email fixing date for interview was 16/5/2012 and in this email they said my interview will be 4/7/2012 so almost you have 8 to 9 months anyway be prepared and ready

my friend I passed the interview and I was not allowed to speak a single word in English so still you have time to study French . the level required is delf b1. if you married your spouse should prove that she speaks French minimum delf a2.

hello guys , i have applied before and went for interview which was in December 2011 at the hong kong office, but i was denied because the french language test started 3 days before my interview and the officer used that against me. What i want to know is if i can take the test and apply again? . I will be glad to get a good reply thanks.

In my own case the interview was set to about 8 to 12 weeks after the receipt of the proper interview invite, but going by mft25's post above I guess it varies with VO and with number of pending cases for interview. Just take the time you have in your hands to keep preparing for the interview, everything will go well.

thanks lemans for ur wishes, iwill try my best to satisfy them with my french even it is not that good..i hope they will issue me CSQ on the spot.

@ mft25 what was ur level at the time of interview and how long ur interview lasts?? well iam single at the moment, i am studying french on my own.

At the time of interview I had DELF A2 but before the interview I used private teacher to enhance my oral level . in the interview the officer gave me DELF B1 level and my husband has DELF A1 level so total we get 8 points. my interview last for 30 minutes and around 15 minutes printing CSQ and many papers describing what next steps will be. really it is amazing if you study by yourself and pass the exams.
