Helloo Everybody..

How are you all?! I miss your discussions friends.
I am in a business trip & not able to check the forum regularly. Sorry!

Is there any update? what's new with everyone?!

Shahi,

Have you had your interview or not yet?!

Hope to catch you soon! ;)

Hey everyone!!!

I attend AF classess here in my town and this month I will be just by myself in one group (basically private lessons) I was talking to my instractor about the interview and she told me to prepare all of the questions that could be potentially asked at the interview. She said we would both work on those this month.

Now, is there anywhere in this forum where I can find a list of uch questions?
DO you know what can be asked?

can you please elaborate what do you mean by choosing an interview or TEF? its their wish whether they will call the candidate for interview or not. also they can ask for the language proof whenever they want. can you please tell whats your country and visa office, so that i can guide you with froms, as there are different checklists for diff visa offices.

regards

Hi Angeleye,
Thanks for your reply.
I was told that you don't need to provide proof of fluency of French at the beginning; rather, when they ask for more documents you are given a choice if you'd like to attend an interview or send out your TEF results.
Also for IELTS, I was also told if you have been working in English, you will only need a letter to show what your job has been and where you have worked.

About the forms, I really need them ASAP. I think I have to prepare the FSW forms + Application for a Selection Certificate; is that right? Could you please please help me with this?
Many thanks,
Mary

My country is Iran and the visa post is Damascus

i have a question do i need to send proof of fund docs with the docs&app im sending or do i just need to show in cash or other way when landing?? ::)

Thanks!

no need to send any proof with the app, just fill out the self-sufficiency form. you will have to show your funds when you reach there.

the actual procedure is that you send all the documents with the application, this includes you language results as well (french & English, whichever you have). is you dont have the test results from any recognized institutes, then you can provide supporting documents to show that you have worked in engslish or french. whatever is told to you regarding interview is incorrect. they either call or dont call for interview, no choices are given (like submitting TEF results). It all depends upon visa officer's discretion. i hope this clears.

for list of forms and supporting docs, visit the following link of Damascus visa office:
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/biq/damascus/dcs-workers/list-documents.html

you have send your application to follwing address:

Bureau d'immigration du Québec à Damas
a/s Ambassade du Canada
38 Autostrade Mezzeh, CP 3394
Damas
Syrie

Phone: (963.11) 611.6851 or 611.6692
Fax: (963.11) 613.1600
E-mail: biq.damas@micc.gouv.qc.ca

if you have any confusion, please revert.
