I've received this letter from MIDI after submitting additional documents requested by MIDI, verification des documents produits.
I am living in Montreal on visitor visa after my PGWP expired.
Anybody living in quebec and got this kind of letter ?

I received same mail in dec 2014, till now, nothing. Though I live in africa.

DECEMBER 2014 and no since then ? have you tried calling them ? May be in my case they won't take such long time because m living in quebec.
No I am not allowed to work. For now I am managing somehow with rent and everything.

yes, in fact you are very much correct. everything is in god's hands now...

Dear mkshah

They've changed the rules after or before asking you documents it doesn't matter. All you have to do is send them documents as per their requested format and wait. Your worry will not change anything for them. Stay happy and be positive everything will be according to god's choice.

Hi engineer,

As far as I'm concerned, it takes 49 points to be eligible for interview and 55 points (or more) to get the CSQ without interview. BIQ Mexico didn't send me the results of my evaluation, but I think I got 56 points. This is how I calculated them (remember, I got my CSQ last year before new rules):

Niveau de scolarité : 12 points
Domaine de formation : 0 points (CNP : 4164)
Expérience : 6 points
Âge : 16 points
Connaissances linguistiques - Français : 12 points
Connaissances linguistiques - Anglais : 6 points
Séjour au Québec : 1 point
Famille au Québec : 3 points
Total : 56 points

thanks buddy for these encouraging words....

I sent IELTS results along with initial application.. with overall 7 bands... at that time I was getting full 6 points for english language but with change in language rules, now it was reduced to 5 points...

so it seems that they are making all these rules just to reduce their huge application backlog and so that more and more older applications got rejected with each new rules getting announced by them...

very pathetic and disappointing conduct by quebec immigration authorities...

That's truly unfair, indeed! But don't lose hope. Have you calculated your points? Are you applying alone or with spouse/common-law partner?

I hope soo, some people got a response after a month aswell.

attente de decision, c'est bien! non ? i've heard that people got their csq without interview after this attente de decision thing.

That's right! I got that same e-mail last year and a couple of months later I received my CSQ without interview. Be patient, Newjwel! I received their "attente de decision" on April 30th and then my CSQ was approved on July 15th. Yay!

I'm in govt job and as per hospital policy they can't issue me experience letter until unless I resign my post. As per their saying that I can show my experience by salary slips. On my request My seniors are willing to sign reference letter for me n they have stamp but it will not be on letterhead of hospital n without reference no. But with official contact no and their mobile numbers. Same letter I have sent them in first week of Oct,2014. Should I send same reference letter ?? Kindly give your valuable suggestions.

I think it should have letterhead. You really need to procure the document according to their requirement. Just to confirm: you sent that document before, and now they are requesting you to send it again, but this time, with their required format, right? If you fail to follow their required format, they really have solid reason to turn you down: it's written there, and i've seen this happen to people before. Of course you might be lucky to have a lenient officer... but that's just betting. So try your best to get one with letter head.
